AN Alexandria boy has signed for Scottish champions Rangers at just ten years old.

 

Owen Stott recently joined the Glasgow giants after impressing them while playing for Dumbarton United, where he has been for five years.

 

The primary five pupil at Christie Park Primary School, of Cloverleaf Path, is the third United player in recent times to turn pro-youth.

 

United coach Neil Shaw said: ââ?¬Å?One of our players recently signed for St Mirren while another went to Falkirk. We are over the moon at our playersââ?¬â?¢ progress.

 

ââ?¬Å?Potentially more of the squad could make the grade. There have been five more playing at Dumbartonââ?¬â?¢s youth development centre.

 

ââ?¬Å?In our league, teams are not meant to keep scores, but it has been a successful time recently. The boys have only lost twice in three years.ââ?¬Â

 

If Walter wouldn't play Aaron at 18 what chance does a 10 year old have in getting picked.
