Jon 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 RANGERS are in negotiations to warm up for their defence of the SPL title next season with a friendly against Manchester City at Ibrox on 5 August. The visit of Mark Hughes' side was dependent on Rangers securing their first domestic championship in four years and avoiding the Champions League qualifying rounds. It is expected to be confirmed this week. Rangers, who will begin their pre-season preparations on 9 July, will also take part in the Emirates Cup tournament in London, with matches against Paris St Germain on 1 August and then hosts Arsenal the following day. Currently on sale at Ibrox - got mine last week (for the Saturday and Sunday). Sure you have to be a season ticket holder.
