Out of the 3 players who were out of contract, I think most would accept Weir has earned a new contract and the other two have not. Sure with his age he may struggle to play as many games. Though perhaps not as much as some suggest. Encouraging to hear some players at least are working hard on their game. UCF2008 0 Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 Like I said in the 'Summer Departures' thread, Weir's increasing lack of pace is a concern, but I don't think anyone could say that he hasn't done enough to deserve an extension.
