Gribz 917
Was talking to a guy in my football team this morning who is a fellow teddy bear and a good mate of Stuart McCall. He was back in UK last week and went to a friendly with McCall where Bernard was playing. He said Bernard stood out and played superbly and got up and down the left side very well

Stuart 0
Yip, he played well against Greenock. But I am worried that Warnock has not as yet offered him a contract. We need rid of him.

geo1873 0
I hope we can get rid of Bernard...please!! Looks like Fan Fan is away to some Spanish team as well... Gimnastic de Tarragona have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Jose Karl Pierre-Fanfan from Rangers and are close to a deal with Real Madrid for Javier Portillo. The newly-promoted Catalan outfit are looking to strengthen as they prepare for their first season in the top flight in 56 years. Coach Luis Cesar is confident that the club will announce the arrival of two players this week and has been in negotiations with four players. At the same time as discussing a deal with Rangers for Pierre-Fanfan, Nastic have also been in talks with French side Nantes about about loaning Julio Cesar Caceres. According to reports in Catalonia, the club have reached a deal for Pierre-Fanfan, but could take Caceres, who is also a central defender, as well. In their bid to reinforce their attacking options, Nastic were chasing Sevilla's Ariza Makukula, but the Congolese striker has announced that he wants to stay in Andalucia. Now their attention has turned to Portillo, who is down the pecking order at Real Madrid once again following the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy. "We have been talking with various players and hope to have some news early in the week when we have something concrete to say," Cesar said. "Things are very close with him (Portillo), although at this stage nothing is confirmed because we still have a few things to sort out." Cesar is being cautious after seeing Levante come in at the last minute and sign Cameroon striker Meyong Ze, after Nastic thought that they had struck a deal with the player last week.
