He described a piece of play by McGeady last season (the game at Pittodrie that won him POTY) as.....wait for it......"succulent" :confused:

 

There is an episode of friends where Joey has to write a statement for Chandler and Monica in support of them to adopt children. He gets out a thesaurus and it ends up a load of incomprehensible, childish nonsense. Much like an article by Speir's.

 

I'm not really sure what he was thinking when he described a footballing skill the same way some of us might describe a peice of ripe fruit.
