Gribz 957 Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Big question for Sunday! Would anyone bring him in to start in the HOPE he can produce a vintage performance??? One problem from BF is he has been played a lot on reputation in the past and has produced far too many below average performances. He obviously has a bad effect on certain people at the club. But with Mendes looking like he needs a beach to rest on I just wonder if playing Ferguson is the answer. But then again who knows if BF is feeling bitter towards the manager and may not give it 100%. Big question!!! If it doesnt happen around 60mins i'd bring him on. He isnt fit and looks a bit pissed off. calscot 0 Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I have to say I've lost a lot of faith in Barry - but still agree he currently seems a better proposition to Mendes, who gets more disappointing with every passing week. A few decent performances from him in the last few games would have tied up the league already or at least made our goal difference matter. The wee man is more effective playing wide and getting at the opposition defence. He does get himself in good scoring positions but, as you say, he misses far more than he nets - but if he gives us a scoring threat from the right hand, or left, side of midfield I would be happy enough. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
