Super_Ally 0
Who's had the better season? Hard to say. Mendes' goal v the *******s and 2 other cracking strikes would likely see him given the nod. Especially considering Fergie's off-field antics. However their overall contributions on the games they have contested is probably pretty even.
DJBlue72 0
Think we will have a Centre Midfield of K.Thomson and Steve Davis next season with Edu as backup. Would like Ferguson to stay as he is the best midfielder at the club , but can see him moving on. Mendes will go too in my opinion back to the premiership , had a good start and has faded badly. We will then need to address the wings especially the left.
Gazza_8 233
I think my all round dislike towards BF clouds my judgement somewhat but it's his own fault. He's a ned who thinks he's better than the club itself!
alexscottislegend 2,325
Has there ever been a Rangers player who so divides the fans more than Fergie? I can almost agree with both sides. What we need is a midfielder who can chip in with a few goals. Davis and Thomson might be capable when they are both played in their right positions. Still think Mendes has touches of class which we no longer see from Fergie.
Gribz 850
Is that not a touch ironic ? Ferguson has been no worse than Mendes this season (and probably actually better), yet we would rather get rid of Ferguson. When Ferguson has a bad season we get the "Fergie must go", "Fergie is past it" etc etc. Mendes has a bad season, which he has, and it is his first and he is a seasoned pro and all we get is a "hope he has a better year next year". I am not pro-Ferguson (also not anti) but it seems that he does take more abuse than others at times. Its not ironic at all mate. Ferguson is a trouble maker, Mendes isnt - simple as that! Both have had plenty of below average games but Mendes has been the better player IMO. Mendes started the season on fire next to Thomson. As soon as "Ma Baw" came back we saw a different Mendes.
calscot 0
But that Mendes is still playing even though Edu has replaced Fergie. And Edu is playing pretty well to be fair.
