Norris Cole 0
It appears Dolly is finding it increasingly hard to deal with 18 years without a victory at Ibrox... Aberdeen unfazed by injustice No glorious swansong for retiring referee dougal Published: 18/05/2009 STUART Dougal came back for this? Having missed almost all of his final season injured, picking up his whistle for the last month of his career only to referee matches in this fashion is like restoring an old banger just to crash it into next door’s garage. Dougal was branded arrogant by Craig Levein and Lee Wilkie during the week and his decision to dismiss Charlie Mulgrew was self-important in the extreme. The assistant referee was right next to the action and made it as clear as anyone physically could that there was nothing in it, but the referee had the red card out of his pocket even before Kyle Lafferty’s mullet hit the turf. But he would not have had the opportunity to err so grossly had the Rangers man not done what he did. So unequivocal are the pictures, showing it was in fact he who moved his head into Mulgrew’s in order to fabricate some contact from which he could drop, that if he had a scruple in his body then he would today have more egg on his face than team-mate Kirk Broadfoot. Instead he clearly thought himself big and clever. But though he shares a taste in celebratory gestures with Cristiano Ronaldo he has scarcely 1% of his talent. The only good thing he has brought to Scottish football is a hole in Rangers’ bank balance. The actions of the Irish winger put people off the game just as much as those of the Portuguese one turn them on to it. Admirably the injustice did not faze a remarkably calm Aberdeen and they were equal adversaries even before the numbers were squared. Madjid Bougherra can consider himself unlucky, but only insofar as he, unlike Hateley, McCoist, Wallace and Miller before him, chose a game in which the linesman had seen enough of the Dons being wronged when he kicked Aberdeen’s goal- keeper in the face. No wonder Jamie Langfield was thought to be keen on that proposed move to Ibrox, in the interests of self-preservation. http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1220068 The Evening Express text-in also gives vent to Dolly permarage. Some examples: "Please Celtic, do us all a favour and don't let Rangers win the SPL", "Rangers were scared of Dons, hence the cheating tactics" Bwahahahahahaha, get it round and up every last one of you hurting scumbags
craig 5,199
That article is pretty poor journalism in the way it is so biased.
Norris Cole 0
That article is pretty poor journalism in the way it is so biased. It's 'Comment' from the editor of some Aberdeen fanzine or another. Still, to drag up stuff about Hateley and McCoist etc and include such a vicious personal attack on Lafferty shows how much this scumbag is hurting.
Super_Ally 0
Would a fanzine even publish such biased drivel.

Norris Cole 0
The Evening Express text-in also gives vent to Dolly permarage. Some examples: "Please Celtic, do us all a favour and don't let Rangers win the SPL" It's just struck me how pathetic that statement is. If Celtic win the league it means Aberdeen will have missed out on Europe (because Dundee Utd will have got the point they need). Sad, sad bastards.
