RANGERS under-19s will be looking to finish the SPL season in style when they take on Inverness Caley Thistle in Dingwall this afternoon.

 

The Murray Park kids will still be feeling the disappointment of losing out in the league and SFA Youth Cup to Hibs but will be out to get three points against the Highland Jags.

 

Gregg WyldeTommy Wilson will be taking the team in Billy Kirkwood's absence and is looking for the team to approach the game in a professional manner.

 

He said: "At Rangers we always expect all the players to maintain a high standard and the under-19s know that.

 

"Hibs, of course, are already Champions but we still want to finish the season in the right way.

 

"What our boys need to remember is that if they play well and stand-out there is always a chance that they could push their way on to the bench for the first-team in the next month.

 

"We have seen Gregg Wylde (above) do that recently along with others.

 

"So there is always a massive incentive for our players to give their all and that is what we want to see against Inverness."

RANGERS under-19s have lost their final SPL game of the season against Inverness Caley Thistle.

 

Two goals in the first five minutes of the game from Caley midfielder Stuart Leslie secured the win and gave the home side a bit of revenge after the 6-2 thumping they suffered at Ibrox in the semi-final of the SFA Youth Cup.

Thanks for the report mate, I still think their are a few boys in the ranks that have potential, whether that comes to anything and/or they get the breaks is another matter.
