Falkirk want 50/50 split for Homecoming Cup Final

Recommended Posts

How the hell can they justify wanting a 50/50 split when there home gate is only about 3000 and 5000 supporters and thats the away support included ie old firm, where have their suppoters been and when they reach a cup final they all come out of the wood work, i say forget giving them the tickets as we had the majority of the seats on saturday against st mirren, im ready for the :box:

In which case they'll need to give the Rangers at least 35,000.

Quite. Lets hope they show a bit of common sense.

I don't really see how a 50:50 split is the fairest option anway? The loyal Rangers fans who keep Scottish football afloat all year every year have less of chance of getting to the Cup Final, whilst the Falkirk "fans" who haven't been to a game all year are virtually guaranteed a ticket if they want one.

The SFA don't have a clue. They felt they had to act after Abergreen fans whinged about not getting a 50-50 split in 2000. The end result was the large swathes of empty seats we saw against Dundee in 2003, when Dundee couldn't flog their allocation for nothing if they tried, while loyal Rangers fans were forced to pay over the odds to touts.
