Midfield Concerns

Add Mendes to my list of concerns.

Was sitting here thinking do we have any central midfielders left. Davis and Edu.

 

Was wondering about recalling Adam and Furman as we literally have no one else. Trying to think could any of the youths step up.

 

Then I remembered Hemdani. Could the Algerian come back from the cold like Velicka and Smith?

As a matter of fact, If Pedro is crocked we may just have stumbled on a good MF combination. Interestingly most of the papers give MoM to Davis. Many on here have been saying for long enough that he is best in central MF, while Mendes is inconsistent.

 

Our real problem now is wide right - come in Nacho!

Yeh, most people were impressed with the way Edu and Davis complimented each other.

 

Davis has only been forced to play right due to us having the same problem on that flank as we do on the left. Trouble is he hasn't been an adequate stop-gap out there. He's been poor for the most part. Bring him in one place and give someone else a shot out right.
