craig 5,199 Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 Strachan, Reid and McInnes. I have to say that I don't see how Strachan could be nominated without Smith being nominated. Both teams have been equally poor, both got punted from Europe at the first time of asking. The only difference this season is an ET win in the CIS and, currently, a 1 point difference in the league, which isnt guaranteed to end in victory. Further we are likely to win the Scottish Cup (more prestigious than the CIS) and could win the league - Strachan's nomination is further proof that these awards should be given at the END of the season. Given Reid is nominated I would actually have nominated Laszlo before Strachan and probably even Levein. Hearts were a shambles prior to Laszlo coming in and he has done a real good job with them. I wouldn't give it to anyone. This season has been one to forget! If we win the double or even just the league, I won't be forgetting it for a while... Even if we don't it will have been a far more enjoyable season for me than 2007, 2006, 2004, 2002 and 2001, which is more than half of this decade.
