THE FINAL Old Firm derby of the season will be played at Ibrox on Saturday, May 9 with a 12.30pm kick off.

And that means that Madjid Bougherra will be able to take part as he will complete his one match suspension the weekend before.

Celtic, however, will be missing midfielder Scott Brown who misses the first two games after the split.

An SPL statement said: "Following consultations with Strathclyde Police and the Heads of Security from Rangers and Celtic, the SPL today confirmed that the final Old Firm game of the season will take place at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday 9 May 2009, kick-off 12.30pm. The match will be broadcast live by Setanta Sports."

The May 9 date gives the Rangers medical team some time to try to clear the injury situation.

I don't really care when it is we beat then, but I am glad that Bougie will be baqck from suspension.

Having him back could have a big impact on the league title comming back to us. We missed him badly in the previous two meetings. Im crtainly a lot more confident now.
