Doing it for their love of the game and the pleasure they got from watching an incredible footballer. Trying to help him and prevent him from doing himself any more harm. See, i thought about that being the reason. Maybes it's just my cynical of head but i feel they would have to get something out of it. I would need to have a 100% guarantee that he was off all drink and drugs before i would let him anywhere near the coaching staff and that would mean regularly giving urine tests in the beginning.
