Rumour From Another Site

Recommended Posts

As BD says, the biggest problem is getting people to part with so much money, regardless of the "discount" on offer.

There is a huge fear factor in global economies right now and people who felt they had "jobs for life" no longer can feel that way (RBS, Ford, GM etc would have been those type of jobs) and whilst lack of spending is exacerbating the problem the reality is that people are fearful for their jobs, livelihood and general existence.

Although many of us are very committed supporters (more committed than the club hierarchy in many aspects) the reality is that a season ticket at Ibrox is a "luxury" item that can be culled in the event of loss of income.

It would be a difficult expense to rid yourself of due to the emotional attachments but when it comes down to it people will want to save their homes rather than their ST, in all likelihood.

The uptake of this would not be significant IMO.
