Suppose that will cover the club saying there is a delay and longer to pay

Rangers Management, Players Agree 50% Wage Deferrals
Stevie - 4lads Blog replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The club have clarified cuts make changes to there T&Cs of their contracts, this is best and protects everyone I don’t see any relevance to players having to take cuts just because others are, end of the day they are unique in jobs & different to ours. As I said it would be great if they take cuts etc but turns out that it isn’t apparently as easy as that I didn’t want our staff losing out on furlough but given they are getting 100% (which was unknown in my stance last week) then I can deal with it even if I don’t like it. My reasoning last week was I didn’t want the club doing that to staff, people losing out. My reasoning now is I’d obviously love the club to be self sustaining but obviously a fantasy in current times. You came over as if you didn’t care about their 20% which was why I didn’t want it. Just my own view and no issues with what you are saying tbf whether I agree or not -

So because they earn more they should be punished by cuts? They have contracts last week you wanted staff furloughed You know I would love players to cut wages but ultimately they owe us nothing, they may be in a good position but sacrifice for that and would argue they work hard for it all their lives Easy to criticise Also we don’t know if this is first part of any strategy the club have, who is to say players won’t wave it in three months Instead of instantly thinking negative I’m inclined to offer it as a positive even though I understand your points Sometimes life isn’t as easy as that though, would cuts affect contracts, sale values etc? -

You wanted this to happen last week mate I get folk saying about taking cuts etc but why should they? Just because they earn more? What about the bankers etc Players offered this and it secures all jobs and wages at 100% I didn’t want the furlough scheme being used tbf but I think this is decent compromise? -

Actions of the senior players have allowed club to ensure everyone keeps their jobsAllowed club to defer ST renewals for fans also (they were going out this week)Folk might be angry or whatever at players, personally I think that’s harshWorth remembering more you earn the more you spend, they didn’t have to do thisgreat effort from everyone in my humble opinionManager will be doing an interview with RTV about this later (again only my opinion) -
I’ve lost my second income and my Mrs has been furloughed mate, we have three season tickets to pay. So It has hugely impacted me I do however understand the club’s position. Before we go ott with criticism of them why not wait and see what plans they announce, I’m hoping it’s all relative to the current predicament
-
You want our staff furloughed? No not for me I’d rather we looked after our staff at these times We are being asked for ST money at same time every year, the club have to try & plan for next season as normal. I would have thought that was self explanatory

The club released a statement on Friday night which was fully detailed, short of saying they have £7m or 70p left in bank what more do you want them to say? In this share issue stuff was clarified An executive board team is looking at all eventualities with this Virus I was told more share issue details Would come out on release of ST stuff so if that’s true we’ll hear more next week Not at dig at you OP, but club have made information clear to extent they can, we will be informed of anything else that’s happening I think club are simply waiting & exploring carefully, if that’s the correct process we will see obviously nobody knows at present With Euro money all up in the air then we are in a bit of limbo, as our club makes relatively little from home games & no commercial income I’m not sure we feel punch as much but that’s only my own conjecture, our staff numbers are relatively small also (Fwiw I think players will take cuts but staff will be looked after as an offset of this - I can also see clubs not being allowed to Furlough staff in these events as MPs etc down south getting knickers in a twist about it - our club may be waiting for these outcomes)

First line you said is where I am with it I’d like clarity on a few things but (this yesterday) is exactly what King said was going to happen, so I’m not particularly fussed by it in any way

Clubs content today has been very fitting and spot on Great words by Gullit Davie Cooper ?

Can’t debate with that mate You’ve just blamed the OO for everything, Uefa fines, singing and Gerrard all in one Come on man, I’d have more respect if you just said ‘I don’t like David Graham because of his background’ Fair enough I get that But let’s cut the shit and stop blaming the OO for everything - you are making yourself look far worse and less tolerant than anything David Graham has ever done
-
What has the Orange Order got to do with our Uefa fines? He’s from NI who have superbly turned round their own image and song sheet, he has that knowledge What has Gerrard got to do with it also? David comes from a very diverse family, you saying because he’s in the OO he must be a bigot or something? The only irony is you are hell bent against this appointment citing loads of reasons yet none of them disguise your hatred for the OO So who has the issue here ?
