[FT] Rangers 4 - 0 Motherwell (Kent, Hagi, Aribo, OG)
Malangsob replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
I think they looked good the first half. I think their football was inventive, graceful, and flowing. I also think there was a precipitous drop off in the second half...expected...but the gap is considerable. It's the same team for the most part. We STILL lack quality depth. What depth we have is aging (Davis, Defoe, Arfield). I think they need a few more quality players...MOST importantly, an attacker...I know...easier said than done... I am getting some serious Deja Vu. I can already see the winter wall from here. -

? ...how they ever conned you guys into believing your society is 'racist' is beyond me...lol!...Jesus...I guess the BS flows like the Mississippi wherever you're at.. -
He should have punched that clown in the chop...rubbin his face like a g You know those clowns in the SFA are scheming up some angle to nab him.

Not a bad performance...but as many have said...i think the team will garner more from the Motherwell match.

SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

What? You are the one who raised the topic of 'Invite' without any further qualification, not I. Just because they have voted, and rejected prior, does not mean they will continue to do so. You type as if this world is devoid of any dynamism. Things change Craig...people change...feelings change. I am simply shedding light on this unique, and quite possibly, very beneficial crisis that could be used to the team's benefit. Or everyone could sit in their piss and moan about the SPFL ad nausea...Call me a dreamer Craigster...but I'm not the only one. -
'sniff' 'sniff' ya smell that?...possibilities possibilities. I say we dispense with the suspense and just put in a bid for Messi.

I wanna see a lot of the our unknown commodities. I wanna see that third Williams sister, Big Calvin lined up at LB. That guy is built like a strong safety. I heard he has some wheels on him too. I would also like to see Mayo and Patterson get serious minutes.

So these 'invites' are independent in origination? They just conjure themselves? No bugs in ears to be planted? No wilful intent conveyed? Just one day the postman delivers... "Why..what's this?...Oh hey hooo!...the Brits wants us to join them down south!...and we didn't even ask!" -

The point is PRECEDENCE. There is no hard rule precluding Rangers from entering leagues south. If a Ales team can do it...then a Scots one can. -
Well if you gotta die...no better day than the 4th of July. Vaya con dios old timer.

How Rangers' Firebrand Alfredo Morelos is Changing Lives

Man...a guy could really funnel a lot of non-taxable contributions if he worked this thing correctly. Not that Fredo would ever do that...but...just sayin. -

Pay cut? How do you figure? Do you think Second place in the SPFL...or away trips to St Johnstone pay the bills at the club? Merch...season tickets...and Europe, which is the only revenue stream that would be hampered if Rangers went south. However...that would not be forever. Besides...if Rangers were promoted to the Championship their share of TV revenues would far exceed this years Europa haul anyway. The average TV revenue for Championship clubs in 2018 was ~32M. Even in league 2 they would garner around 3M https://financialfootballnews.com/championship-2018-finances-revenue/ Suffer for a couple years...kinda. -

Why wouldn't they? 50,000 show up to watch St. Mirren...or Livingston...think about it bro...not that much different. Plus...you think Rangers fans wouldn't have their eyes on the prize? You think they wouldn't be able to gage the future benefits of promotion? Go South! -

I am not talkin about 'top division'. I am talkin about a taste...a foot in the door. The team can start in their League One...or whatever is south of that. It doesn't matter, in a decade Rangers would be stompin mudholes in those clowns. It's all about gettin a taste of that revenue stream. They let those Welsh cats do it (Swansea...Cardiff)...why not the Scots? Why not Rangers? Meh...my two cents on it. -

No bud...EVERYBODY loves money. What Rangers do have is a fan base who dig deep and come up ($$) for their team. I mean come on man...the friggin team sold 40,000 season tickets to a fanbase who is content to watch the game from home...WTF? If You own a league who is in a pinch you tellin me wouldn't welcome Rangers? Forget about it. -

https://www.sportspromedia.com/opinion/efl-championship-coronavirus-finances-wages-ifollow-streaming-blackout You can look the numbers. TV revenue is huge for these clubs....no asses in seats....no season tickets...no merch...think logically. They are hemorrhaging cash at every level. However, your smaller clubs. Bury, Wiggan, etc. are particularly susceptible due to their thin margins. -

English teams are going tits up like spring salmon. The more this Covid business, and all the disparate mess attached, continue, the more these conditions will be exacerbated. Failing clubs, cause hurting leagues, hurting leagues, welcome stability. Rangers are NEVER going to get a fair shot at this again. A blind man can see that. I am about as outside your fishbowl in Glasgow as possible and it is as clear as day. It's time to ramble on my good man. -

Sounds good to me. Rangers can't get a fair shake in this smudge pot of a league anyhow. On to England...a fresh start, and an honest shot for once I say.
