  1. Kent - Fredo- Matondo Tillman Lundstram - Jack Red Van - Davies - Goldson - Tavernier McLaughlin -Fredo over Colak-In Colak's defense I have not seen enough of him yet to fairly ascertain....BUT...Fredo has produced for years. Plus he is a world class A-Hole on the pitch...a quality that cannot be understated. -Davies...no other alternative...shoehorning a right sided CDM (Sands), and a RCB (Souttar) in the position is not wise...as we have seen. -Jack--still has a gammy leg...and probably always will but in my fantasy world he would team up lovely with Lundstram -Tillman is a CAM...just like Haji...is a CAM...
  2. How am I singling him out if he was played out of position? If anything he should probably get a little more of a pass don't you think? Gio's decision to play Sands at LCB when he had a guy in Davies, specifically signed to play there boggles the mind. ESPECIALLY when considering Borna's form of late. Did he not think USG would zero in on that like a boxer on a cut eye? Logic anyone? We have a another shot at them. We shall see.
  3. Holy Hell...just finished watchin that. Well, a few things. -We now have a barometric low for the season--work upward -A lot of new players in that lineup very new to Gio, and his scheme,. -Yes Veronica, Sands is not a CB. -An average team that is tight, passes well, in your face, and is first to the ball will beat a much more talented squad, which is not, 99/100 times. -We need Fredo back, Fredo needs game time against Killie. -We may not be able to be tight at this stage...but we need to see a**holes and elbows on the field...none...NONE were seen tonight. -We can recover and whip these clowns.
  4. Meh..get past these Belgian guys first...then we can worry about whoever. Nothin to it but to do it.
  5. Rabbi Matondo of course. He spent almost his entire loan to Circle Brugge playing LW. He should slide in there no problem...plenty of practice. Easy peasy.
  6. He pulled up in the last few minutes of the Livi game. Probably a high ankle sprain by the look of it. Hope it's not bad. The Rabbi should be able to fill in for him.
  7. They are so bad in the states I put the Hogs games on mute. I can't listen to that BS. Yammerin on like a buncha school girls about nothin.
  8. Who is that NI announcer on there? Not a fan of that guy.
  9. A true servant is beneficial to both himself, and his team. Through hard work (training, and match), perseverance (learning from mistakes both on and off the pitch), match contribution (Man of the match, making those around him better), and increased value (monetarily, as well as raising the levels of those surrounding him), Calvin ticked all of the boxes in a very limited timeframe. Davies has yet to hit any marks...thus my critique. Final word on the topic to you sir.
  10. Of course. Critiquing current players who will have an impact on our future, and back snipping a proven professional who was moved on for a record fee, are two different things. IMHO, one of the two, is quite pointless, and borders on petulance. I will let you decide which. As for Bassey's service, and my gauge of it, any player who played at his level, with his pace of improvement, and was moved on those terms...is a TRUE servant in every capacity.
  11. We shouldn't speak ill of the departed. He was a solid servant to the club. The club served him, and he enriched the club in the end. God bless him, and may he always find success against others.
  12. He speaks truths, if people can't handle that, then they can, to steal a Scots phrase..."Get Tae"
  13. Passing, man marking, long balls, corners, balls into the box...all shit That Livi player heads it 12 inches either way and we are 2-0 down. Get Kamara's ass out, put Davis, or Arfield in, and let's go! It is too early in the season for me to be pissed off at 7 am.
  14. Mods...I don't know what the rules are on here for this. Delete if against the rules. These are the Belgian cats we are gonna play. [Snip]
