The beer issue is kinda underhanded by the Qataris. Give us your money, and the exposure commensurate with that, but not your sin. Highest of hypocrisy. However, in their defense, Budweiser is horse piss.

We are starting to dance upon pins. Would you not agree that OVERALL his experience with Rangers was poor? His overall impressions, did not meet expectations, thus creating a bit of hard feelings? Yes? Can we agree on that portion? I will assume so. All I am saying is that negative experience was used as a driver by him. As a result of that negativity, married with many other aspects of his life, helped meld, mold, and create a driven man. So, at the end of the day, Rangers, whether good, bad, or indifferent played a positive role in his success. He was NOT ultimately successful by HIS measure at Rangers. This pushed him. So I don't see it as a net negative. That's all i am saying.

It wouldn't be a Rangers support without it. Build the effigy, to set it alight.

You referenced the cup game. Not I.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/30-most-successful-football-clubs-19428893 Big picture Syntax...big picture is what sets the expectations...big picture is what built the club--151 years of success...151 years...most of them winning...big titties Syntax...big titties. -
When one is ostracized...they are rejected. If you suck...Rangers is never a great place to be.

Yeah...because he got dumped by his dream date. Celtic were not. Of course he had a chip. Some guys can take defeat, and move on but that is not Alex's psychology. Look, I bet you anything, if you and me could hop in a time machine, and go back to 1960's Glasgow the only thing on young Alex's mind would be playin for Rangers. The kid came from a rough place, dreaming of football, Rangers football, and when he got there it didn't work out. Some guys can say "meh...movin on", some guys can't. Some guys it destroys, and some it is like puttin a rocket engine under their ass. Rangers rejection was that rocket engine. Now was it ALL Rangers? No...but it sure was a nice piece. You gotta take the bitter and the sweet...it all makes the man. Rangers rejection was like eating a box of lye for Alex. That's a badge in my book.

I watched it, and didn't see the portrayal of Rangers in that way. I think it was accurate. Guy grew up in a rough town, supporting Rangers. He got his shot, and failed at the club. He then used that as a driver to fire (partially) him toward success. I think his failure at Rangers scared the shit out of him because it was his first. Concurrently, he saw the alternative, a life in those ship yards, pounding rivets, just like dad. Nothing inaccurate about the 'brutality' of Rangers. It is an unforgiving club, with and equally unforgiving fanbase. You meet the standard, or get your ass up the road. Alex found his path, and Rangers were a part of that.

Rangers announce friendly with Bayer Leverkusen during winter break
Malangsob replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
I think a guy like Dyche is tailor made for the SPL. I think he could get in and win...ugly. Which is what Scots football is...ugly. Which I say lovingly. However, I can already read the tea leaves on a Dyche appointment. "Too much respect" "We should be pumpin this lot 4-0" yada yada Boring guys don't get the breaks...especially if they lose. The rope would be close on a Dyche appointment...IDC if he coached in the EPL. Burnley fans were appreciative because he gave them what they never had in bunches, and may never have again...survival in the top flight. Rangers fans are big titty spoiled. I just don't feel like hearing the bullshit from fans. -
I am very happy to see him on two legs training again. I wish him a speedy full recovery toward match fitness. My only hope is that this injury will not exacerbate what is already, a fairly severe lack of pace.

What? Why? If anyone we would want Beale. Gerrard will NEVER return. Ego, if anything, would simply not permit it. -

Repression breeds obsession. Push it down here, it bubbles up there. Freedom of speech, is the freedom to offend. -
Gersnet Article Gio isn’t the root of the problem
Malangsob replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Gio is a tactician, a decent football mind, but he does not provide the leadership required to push an injury riddled squad forward. Many people say that their wage, and the increase of market worth per player should be enough, it is not. Gio gives no spark. I have never spent a second in the man's presence, but I know men. He motivates, no one. He manages, he provides tactics, he provides training in those tactics...but he is sterile...a breathing text. I think Gio will find his place at a high level club as a number two. I think that would be his best fit. I think this season has exposed many things, most of all, his leadership. -

I have no idea where they got that valuation from. Ridiculous, even on a 'good' day. Just reflects the general inflation of markets I think. -
