If a player was injured in the first half, inning, period, you pretty much knew by game end what the injury was. The next day you would know the exact injury and how long he would be out. You could damned near set your watch to it as well. It wasn't just filler, it was quality stuff. I mean we are talking down to the degree of a shoulder separation, high ankle sprain, strain, tear...treatments. Same with contracts, salaries...free agency...the whole nine. Do we NEED to know that? No, but it helps to gauge in the mind where your team are sitting. Just a little? UK sports are an information void, save for a few amorphous terms thrown around with little thought...'Loan...knock...agreed to terms.' Unless of course a player says a 'meany word' or something salacious. Then the press and opposing fans are shrieking like seagulls chasing a trawler. Every detail breathed over like a SCOTUS case. Don't get me wrong I love the sport. It is the most addicting thing imaginable but the information quality is putrid. Definitely a lord and serf relationship. Rant over as well.

No...we are not BM's incubator. Tillman's development took pitch, and training (staff man hours) time away from players who could have grown WITH our team. We allowed ourselves the 'developmental league' treatment. Rangers disrespected themselves and their fans (lack of transparency) as that's a b**** move...full stop. I think this will become more evident when they turn and sell him for 8-10M to some schlub team in England or wherever in the short term. If an 18 year old qualifies for USAF/CCT there ain't nothin on any soccer field, anywhere in this world that could possibly be tougher than that. Young men do it every year. If a young airman of 18-19 can run tactical control on a forward LZ, under fire...I'm sure they can kick a ball. Wipe their ass, and get em out there.

POTS-Tillman--Kid is the real deal. Biggest Flop- -Most Improved-All vets regressed, were injured, or barely met previous standard. Even Barisic (honorable mention) was just...Barisic...he only seemed better because of the massive injuries/suck surrounding him. -Unsung-Medical professionals everywhere. Without them we would have been down to the grounds crew by season end. -Best Signing-Cantwell
