  1. Jessie street facory designed by Archiebald Leitch. The first fully reinforced concrete building having ferro concrete frame and panels. It has been neglected and is owned by Spectrum properties (Scotland)

  4. Celtic in for Scott Allan according to the Record http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/celtic-bid-scott-allan-scottish-6245116
  5. It wasn't McLaughlin who wrote the report though, it was Andy Campbell
  6. I don't see either Tempelton or MacKay able to deliver the final cross. We've had one example from MacKay (probably the first time he's done it) and none from Templeton. Their recent effectiveness have been in ground level passes through the middle
  7. I think Ally said at one time that his players had the responsibility for their own fitness. It was something along the lines of you don't need to tell seasoned professionals how to conduct themselves
  8. winks ?......................
  9. as a fan...my attitude has changed. defending a one goal lead for 80 minutes might get a result...but it's pish to watch. I remember chants of "boring Arsenal" being replied to with " 1...0, 1...0 (to the tune of Amazing Grace) Going for it, like even when 2...1 up on Friday with little left on the clock ,might be asking for trouble.....but it's great entertainment. That's what we're paying to see. We might come a cropper against a sharper outfit....but that's the price we'll have to pay You know it might just catch on
  10. https://www.facebook.com/FootballTransferNews.FTN?fref=nf BREAKING: Sheffield Wednesday striker Stevie May to have contract discussions with Rangers this week about a move there, deal could be done by Friday. if only......................
  11. what's the capacity of Dens and Firhill ?
  12. No one needs to spend large amounts of money to win this league. I'm happy with that
  13. I give you Lubo Moravckic
  14. If he buckles down, loses a stone and Killie play 2 up front instead of 1, he'll prosper otherwise it doesn't look good for him and Killie Willie Miller said they looked better when they played " a natural game"....that was when they were 2...0 down to Aberdeen. Maybe Locke should go for the Warburton philosophy.......play the game the punters wan't to watch it'll catch on eventually
  15. We should get the best players who will come. It would need to be a deal we can't afford to bring him to division 2 in Scotland The guy's class
  16. "It was a ringing endorsement for a regime and board who have swept to power in the most bitter of power struggles. Not only have they applied some much needed navigation to what was a rudderless ship in terms of the football side of things, " In terms of the previous board as well mate ! No one on there had plotted a course. Now we've got people with a compass and the ship is sailing in the right direction "all that is required is an exercise in judgement as to whether our club is heading in the right direction. If last night didn’t tell you that it clearly is, then I would respectfully suggest to you that pessimism or cynicism is clouding your judgement." Hear ! Hear !

  18. What's happened to the boycott ! BBC advertising on telly live commentary of tonight's match on radio !
  19. It would be Motherwell who would be charged for not providing proper stewarding to prevent this.
  20. McLaughlin's report from the HIbs game Arrests made at Hibernian v Rangers Challenge Cup match Rangers could be in trouble with the Scottish Professional Football League due to the behaviour of some of the club's fans during their win over Hibs. Three arrests were made after sectarian singing during Saturday's Scottish Challenge Cup tie at Easter Road Stadium. The match delegate's report will highlight the issue as well as the use of a flare. Rangers progressed to the second round with a 6-2 win. Police Scotland said in a statement: "Police in Edinburgh ensured that a significant policing presence was put in place to keep the public safe during the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup between Hibernian and Rangers at Easter Road Stadium. "Six people were arrested for various offences, of which three men aged 20, 30 and 39 were charged under the Offensive Behaviour at Football & Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012 following sectarian singing. Richard Wilson's report on the Fir Park Game Motherwell stay up after finishing 11th Johnson, Ainsworth & Sutton on target Game ends in ugly brawl, three red cards and fans on pitch Motherwell preserved their Premiership status with a second comfortable win over Rangers in four days. Leading 3-1 from the first leg of the play-off final, the Fir Park side stretched their advantage through a deflected shot from Marvin Johnson. Another ricochet from a Lionel Ainsworth's strike doubled the lead and John Sutton added a late penalty. A brawl on the final whistle resulted in red cards for Rangers' Bilel Mohsni and Motherwell's Fraser Kerr. Defender Mohsni was pushed in the back by Lee Erwin, and responded by kicking the Motherwell striker and then punching him, with Kerr then becoming involved with the Tunisian amid a melee. Meanwhile, Motherwell fans streamed onto the pitch and ran towards the away fans to goad them.
  21. Modernised top to bottom.......... Warburton revolution continues
  22. I was out of the country during last season's play offs. Can anyone tell me if McLaughlin covered the Fir Park game, and if he did, what was the BBC headline from the match filed by him ? ps forget it was Richard Wilson.....the pitch invasion was low on the list of comments which concentrated on the score
