  1. even the fox in the box......................maybe not
  2. Cathro was there last year was he not I think (and hope) this Fulham statement means that they have put feelers out and Mark has told them "no"
  3. I agree with this but Waggy's got a heavy first touch and, in the jargon, shows too much of the ball to defenders. He also takes too much time to tee up a shot. Nevertheless he's the nearest we've got to a target man who can lay off a ball to a real finisher. We're crying out for someone sharp in the box who's got close control and can get a shot away before defenders rush in to block.
  4. is this comment correct ? I've copied it from elsewhere Res 10 was pretty close but not quite there. It's no problem because Res 9 permits a large rights issue. The board can appoint an underwriter (s) who can buy the rights not taken up. That will certainly give the 75% needed next vote.
  5. also wondering what the vote was and what about the challenge to the gagging order.....wasn't that today as well ?
  6. In previous judgements the right to appeal was given when the verdict was first announced. I can't believe leave to appeal would not be granted
  7. aye.......
  8. it's a 3 year contract don't think you'd move a family's base for that
  9. we play good football up to the edge of the box then we run out of ideas.
  10. what's happened with the resolutions ?
  11. I listen to them all....................my wife says it's soap opera like Eastenders
  12. yes but the Sports Direct boycott would have meant it was 26% of not very much
  13. "Introducing that would just lead to a huge increase in unemployment and a hike in taxes to pay for the increased benefits payable, so a vast majority of the population would be worse off." no he calculated a tax on bankers would pay that level for our working people
  14. ok I heard Arthur Scargill at the last election. He reckoned the living wage should be £12 per hour
  15. Is it the real living wage or Osbourne's minimum wage renamed ?
  16. saw this on the AGM thread Blair: We are aware of rules if Newcastle drop to Football League over dual interest. 4 retweets 0 likes Grant Russell ‏@STVGrant 2m2 minutes ago Q: Regarding Ashley dual interest, any confirmation from SFA he can't take more? what are the rules ? If it's not possible to meet them in Euros because they get relegated, does it mean Ashley can buy more shares in us and have an influence ? and how does that work when we are in Scottish second tier at the moment and couldn't meet them anyway ?
  17. brilliant goal from Ajax chalked off wrongly
  18. I agree and the attempt by some to hide Ashley's intentions under a carpet as 2 egoists "seeing who can piss the highest" is pretty transparent these people are a disgrace to Rangers supporters (if that's what they are !)
  19. Whyte was given 110% mortgage by the Bank Of Scotland on that property.....more than £700,000 you wonder why they lent him that sort of money it would have been around the time they were getting their £18m back
  20. they'll be getting their story straight obviously
  21. when I heard he was coming I thought he'd be shite. Can't remember why Turned out to be an excellent footballer
  22. there aren't a lot of crosses into the box which might explain that. other routes to goal are preferred these days a big striker would be good right enough. quite liked Stevie May
  23. no, there won't be any struggle for first place at all. Rangers will walk it
  24. The Petitioners were successful in their application to require the Company to withdraw Resolution 11 from consideration by shareholders at the AGM. Although the decision has been made on an interim basis only until the Petition can be fully considered by the Court, this means the Resolution will not be presented to the meeting and shareholders will not be afforded the opportunity to vote upon it. The Company will now consider how best to proceed.
  25. so what's the implication of this ?
