  1. aye....rid her an' skelly eyes. Q How do you know it's a time spying on you through the keyhole ? A You can see both his eyes
  2. He's deliberately implying sectarian singing is Rangers problem and omitting the chants at the tims game, which he says is all about flares
  3. There were rumours that St. Johnstone were prevaricating and Brentford were playing hardball. So I just wondered. Fully support MW that if a player is not good enough value we walk away. If that means a barren transfer window (in terms of our first team) then so be it. However that quote does raise expectations of new arrivals. I think Stokes will strengthen Hibs and he'll get a few goals at this level and Kevin Thompson will be a good addition if he stays injury free. I understand he's looking at a player/coach role at Easter Road
  4. who've we got in and are they likely to feature in the first team ?
  5. What are the chances of us going through this window with no new players in ?....It's looking more likely.....Are other clubs' chairmen going to the wire trying to extract more money before the deadline ?

  7. Law's done enough for another season I reckon. I thought MacKay was a waste of space but this season he's turned it around so I'd keep Law
  8. I'm remembering the tit who ran onto the pitch in a European game against an Israeli side and chained himself to the goalposts. He was a tim but it was us that got fined by Uefa for it
  9. Ally performed in the first team over a much longer period than Forrest. The best striker I've seen for us was Marco Negri but of course his time was very short
  10. Ally without a doubt
  11. he was one of the pundits who ridiculed the league for demoting us to the third tier. He described it as scottish football giving itself "a lethal injection"
  12. If he didn't play on Saturday it looks like he's going somewhere. Rumours on facebook is the fee is £500,000 and he's on his way to us. RUMOURS !
  13. so how come this...................................""However the Intellectual Property Office said it was unaware of any active moves or applications being made to release Sports Direct's hold on the club's valuable trademarks and badges."
  14. says it in the Record as well
  15. can't understand this. so what's that report in the Herald all about ? It says the trademarks are still Ashley's, why is that ?
  16. according to the Herald Loan paid off but he keeps the trademarks "for now" "However the Intellectual Property Office said it was unaware of any active moves or applications being made to release Sports Direct's hold on the club's valuable trademarks and badges. An IPO spokesman said: "The owner of the UK-specific trademarks of Rangers are still owned SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. There is no information that this is likely to change at present." The development comes over a week after Rangers announced it had taken out a £6.5 million loan from associates of club chairman Dave King - most of which would be used to pay off a £5 million emergency loan to Mike Ashley's Sports Direct - which gave the company security over vital club assets."
  17. I think there'll still be a big crowd even if it's on telly
  18. think he was always on to a winner with Whittaker and Naismith. Law is pretty clear on that issue
  19. they could surely do a quality wine. We need someone who has a vineyard
  20. Women are second class citizens in many Muslim countries. That seems too uncomfortable for her to extrapolate such behaviour into Europe. Comparisons to what happened to her 30 odd years ago aren't really valid. A time when Robertsons had golliwogs on jam jars and women were treated differently. She needs to consider why Muslim countries have attitudes stuck in a time warp not 30 but 100's of years ago
  21. I'd like to know more about Davie Weir's role. How did he get in tow with MW ?
  22. Buy 6 or 12 at a time.....it's much cheaper and deliveries free. I would recommend Tesco's Vouvray if you're into chenin blanc or Brown Brothers which is slightly less lemony and a little sweeter
  23. Morrisons got the best meat and fish counters of any of them
  24. nor can you compare what happened 40 years ago to what happened in Europe a week ago
