Mike Ashley, dual club ownership and the 10% rule rumour
colinstein replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
how could that have been missed ! -
he'll make money as long as we don't go to the wall so he'll keep us afloat until we're no use to him any longer. it has been hinted by our lunatic enemies, that's he's now getting all the proceeds from kit sales. If this is the case, why would any supporter buy if no one buys his kit, or even boycotts his other stores..............he's on to plums
-
all very true but as was said.....he's a capitalist and does what capitalists do
-
sure............we can't do what the Germans do now can we ?
-
fan ownership is the only answer.

Letham gives Rangers extra time to repay £1million loan
colinstein replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I think there are one or two on here who went against the party line on RM and got banned. The party line is support the board at all cost and denigrate anyone who has different views. RM is bought and paid for by the people who control the Ibrox board....if you've forgotten already, they do have previous for this with Ahmed posting on there under an assumed name. Wouldn't be surprised if he's still doing it -

doesn't matter how many you play up tops if you can't supply them. -
That's what I was thinking I reckon you could call the shots with much less

if supporters are merely consumers who buy a product, then you can hardly blame anyone who decides not to buy for our current predicament. Can't have it both ways ! -
I think if he buys more than 29% he is legally obliged to offer to buy the rest of the shares in the company. So in the event of a new share issue, he'll still need allies.

Leckie: Stop giving to Ibrox, start following your local team!
colinstein replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
wonder who Leckie's team is ? -
"At over 50%, is it? Is it really? Have a look at our accounts, our 120 day review. Turnover averages at £19m and football costs well over £10m. It is disgustingly high" Daily Record 10/4/2014 In accounts now filed with Companies House, TRFCL has reported operating costs of £35.3 million for the 13 months to June 30, 2013 on turnover of £17.6 million, with the first team wage bill for the year having come in at £7.8 million.

League Cup Draw : Falkirk v Rangers/ICT (plus seeding talk)
colinstein replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
That reporter Micky Gannon is a hater. He was always disparaging about us on Sportsound and if you read his report of the Queens Park game and compare it to the Scotsman......you'll see what I mean -
have we been time warped back to April 1'st ?
-
one can but hope. maybe we could get Malky
-
Eck was ok but I remember at his time with us he got pelters for baffling team selections with players out of position Malky MacKay might be looking for a job. Maybe he doesn't fancy China or Russia you never know
-
no we wouldn't, we'd have withdrawn from the competition It's a matter of Sportsmanship in fairness, I heard an interview where 2 tims actually said Celtic should do just that
-
you wonder why what happened at this meeting has come out now looks like factions within the SFA want him bumped who could that be ? He'll get a big pay off

Official Manager Discussion Thread
colinstein replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
ally said what a manager has to say or he's not a manager for very long he's made sure the right amount of finance has been invested in the team what he's done with it is a different story He took what Green offered early doors, what choice did he really have W need to appreciate people like Ally and Walter are on our side
