Is there a legal way of stopping the board stripping us before an EGM can happen ? An injunction or something. Fighting Fund maybe can finance it ?

Winter transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
colinstein replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
It looks like the sort of appoinment if we don't want to rely on a big chequebook in the future. In the same vane Jackie MacNamara ..........reckon the tims will have him clocked for the future -
Winter transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours

http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/latest/rangers-make-formal-offer-for-ian-cathro-1-3653462 RANGERS have made a ‘formal offer’ for Valencia assistant coach Ian Cathro, according to a Spanish radio station COPE radio are reporting that the Ibrox club have approached Cathro in relation to the managerial post at Rangers. Kenny McDowall was appointed caretaker manager following Ally McCoist’s departure, but suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat by Hibs in his first match in charge before guiding Rangers to a 3-1 win over Dumbarton. It is believed that the Rangers board are actively exploring options beyond making McDowall a permanent fixture, and Cathro, who played youth football for Brechin City and Forfar Athletic, is thought to be high up on the list of candidates. -

heard that on the wireless this morning what do we know about him ? -
Here's my take on "some online supporters" you talk about Most of them by far are on 1 rogue site that is paid for by the board. their plants on there and places like facebook attack anything that threatens the gravy train. That includes King, 3 bears, fan ownership groups, ex players who have the club at heart there are also hangers on like tims on the wind up and I concede that there may be a few useful idiots but not many

New £500k Easdale loan & HMRC letter regarding unpaid NI
colinstein replied to gisabeer's topic in Rangers Chat
Easdale were bluepitch and margarita on the board they could have voted their 6% for the King investment but didn't it would have made little difference to the final vote. It's been said on here that they've cost us millions but they've made nothing from us as far as I can see they'll likely lose money on their shares they've put up half million to keep us going...........- 74 replies

12/01: American businessman Robert Sarver pulls out of running
colinstein replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
so he made a bid before christmas which has been buried since then. Suddenly dis interred for what purpose ? will it drive the price of a new share issue up ? who would benefit from that ? Would this bid have seen the light of day if King and the three hadn't bought in ? I believe Richard Wilson if he says this story didn't come from Irvine but might it have come from Ashley via Somers ? I'm deeply suspicious of this. -
obviously but they're smart enough to know what'll be necessery in the future In my view the supporters have laid down a marker we don't like, we don't buy that's where the power lies

they are capitalist bastards but they know they'll make nothing from us they're doing it because they are the people they can afford the luxury of saving us King might be a capitalist who has our interest at heart, but others don't. Ashley for example....what if he bought us outright ! Fan ownership is the only way forward for all our teams........and you know what, I reckon our new custodians know that fine well

you know I thought I might be wrong there but I just couldn't see where the Easdales made money from us. Our new custodians are never going to make money from us either. That's not why they're in it

I think Easdales might be given some recognition since they gave the club interest free, unsecured loans and took no wage for being on the board. They sucked no money out of us like the rest.

Dave King purchases Artemis shares (confirmed!!)
colinstein replied to j1mgg's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm sure they'll work something out This has got to be a stepping stone towards fan ownership. I think our new custodians will know that too......after all, they are not in it for the money- 135 replies
