Ashley hasn't got the number of shares or the backing to win against Parks and King if it comes to an EGM showdown. This is just the same bluster that's been appearing on comical Ali's blog and Mcgillivan's. Fed from the same weasel spinning for the Easdales

Rangers say they will continue to fight a £250,000 fine imposed by the Scottish Professional Football League despite losing in an appeal against the judgment to the Scottish FA. A judicial panel of the governing body ruled on Wednesday that the Championship side are liable for the punishment, which was imposed by the league after the club breached rules of their use of employee benefit trusts for players. In a statement to the Stock Exchange, Rangers say they will now take the matter to arbitration. Although the case was against the Rangers oldco, the SPFL insist the newco "signed an agreement" to be liable for the fine, with the club's chairman David Somers and its former chief executive Graham Wallace recently "acknowledging the liability and suggesting ways of paying the sums due". Money is not directly payable out of Rangers' bank accounts, with the league instead intending to withhold the sums due from cash due to be paid out in prize money to the club. Rangers said in a statement: "Further to the announcement on 17 December 2014, Rangers Football Club Limited (the "Club") lost the appeal with the Judicial Panel of the Scottish FA on 13 January 2015 in respect of the EBT Commission fine of £250,000 levied on RFC 2012 PLC (previously The Rangers Football Club plc) (in liquidation). "The club will now take the matter to arbitration." http://sport.stv.tv/football/306533-rangers-to-take-ebt-fine-to-arbitration-as-scottish-fa-rule-against-club/ think the SFA are holding about £2million....prize money and cash for the transfer of Steven Davies to Southampton

Park and King will dilute their own shares. That's what will happen in a new share issue they are proposing. It's the share blocks controlling the present board who want to block Sarver. I doubt whether the board contacted any other share holders.....why should they when they have enough shares themselves to block it. -
he did well at St. Johnstone

this is right King's investment was considered "income" by SA Tax....but it's wrong There's nothing in Rangers accounts showing £18 million going to King and his investment was into Murray Sports or something. it's expected that MacGoblin should mis represent this, but the later spin from toxic, taken up by McMurdo is despicable. but not to get distracted.....has a big debt been called in....is there any substance to it ?

George Taylor The Morgan Stanley managing director has now signed up to a life-time membership with fan-ownership group Rangers First. In a statement given to Press Association Sport, he said: "My hope is that direct fan ownership would become the biggest individual owner of Rangers. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-taylor-fans-rangers-125031825--sow.html?soc_src=mediacontentsharebuttons&soc_trk=tw

colinstein replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Strathaven's near Ibrox !.....Geography's not their strong point either -
yep he made a big play that it wasn't in the accounts and no one knew about it until it arrived and as has been said on here, he's being fed by the same source as McMurdo

an "historic" debt going back to Green has been called in according to our main hater. A lot of speculation that it's for £6.5 million, and that it's owed to Ashley although neither the amount or who it's owed to were identified by him. Anyone got any idea ?
-
who said anything about board members being replaced they could accommodate the good guys by expanding the board Obviously we need to get rid of them but maybe we need to wait for that. might be 6 weeks
-
If this shower know their arses are toast following an AGM, why are they insisting on minimum representation ? what are they going to sign over to Ashley while they hang on ?
-
with 1 rep on the board, the Ashley block can still do whatever they loike. Call a EGM and get rid of the lot

Sports Direct are a big sponsor of Oldham -
I fear they'll accept interest free loans for the brand rights that are left and/or secure them against Ibrox before we can get a new board in
