yes jon, it is a good signing, but if liverpool are trying to emulate chelsea then there going the wrong way about it. sometimes i wonder about benitez`s signings. he knocks back michael owen after selling him. he swaps a dud dutchman for a good spaniard. he signs an aging robbie fowler. he signs a dodgy character in bellend. now, i`m not saying none of these are bad signings, but i`m wondering if they are good enough to overcome chelsea/man.utd/arsenal on a consistent basis

only reason you THINK that about htem both is because 1. crespo hasnt played week in week out. but when he does play he usually scores. 2. because you believe all the crap that is posted about drogba. i can assure you if you watch him he helps the team more than being a prolific goalscorer. he really is instrumental to our success.

my god!!!! me and boyharley actually agree:eek: what he said above is what i would`ve mostly posted danny. i don`t think it`s being presumptious for owen to ask for a medal from the final. he`s played his part in the tourne and is eligible for one. also, as boyharley says above he is showing he has confidence in his team mates to go on and do the job they`ve worked 4 years to do. i think it would be different if say, neil lennon said WHEN I GET MY scottish cup final medal for next season after playing 30 mins of one match i`ll be showing it to everyone.
