don`t think theres any denying malkys accuracy is blinding. i`d give him 10/10 for playing for the jersey. we need more people with his attitude and spirit at the club to let them know what it`s all about. gets me wondering if thats not why he`s been kept around, to impress on others what the spirit and attitude should be like instaed of some of these ponsy money grabbers who just want to make a fast buck. i`ve NEVER thought malcom has been good enough for a club the size of gers though. yes, he can come in and do a small job and is generally very good for team morale. maybe now leguen`s here, he`ll give most of these slackers a boot up the arse now though and not let it be left to players like boab

yup, this geezer has just given the whole tourne a bad name now and it`ll be remembered for not much more than this game. i agree what you`ve said there rino. we should only be seeing refs who are USED to refereeing in big leagues and who are full time. they should go on an intensive training course every 2 years and if they fail it, there out on their ear. too many games have been ruined by the ref in this tourne. imagine that holland v portugal game had went onto extra time. those players would have to have been booked into hospital suffering cramp, dehydration, fatigue and SHOCK all because of some rusky idiot who`s intent on grabbing the spotlight to make himself a star. we don`t want to see the refs in games, and the best refs are the ones you never see.

not so. ecuador recently beat both brazil and argentina. i`d say paraguay are thee worst south american team there.

that game fair woke me up anyway. so, ivanov, the ref, has equaled the record for most bookings in a match. 16 bookings(not sure if that includes the 4 reds). i was totally confused as to had been booked and after every tackle i expected the ref to show another red card. some of that refs decisions beggared belief. how did he not book maniche for celebrating behind the goal when he was booking people for kicking the ball away or timewaisting etc? that guy is a joke. i`ve seen him in the champions league but he`s never been as bad as that as far as i can remember. he`s just made a fool of himself tonight and like graham poll, he`ll NEVER get the final. he`ll be off home now. infact, that ref totally took over the whole game. it was like he wanted all the limelight or he had a bet on the game.. i`ve never seen a ref as bad a sthat. he even beats some of the scottish refs in terms of how bad he was. andrew waddle was the worst referee i ever seen. he once sent off ian durrant and graham roberts and gave every other decision against rangers in a match in 1986. there is virtually nothing to say about the game, and that is rediculous. one thing i`m elated about though is the fact england get to play portugal though. with deco and costinha out, and ronaldo maybe out(if not he`ll not be fully fit after that injury), i`m beginning to believe that england can do this after all. not, that i`ve ever said anything else that they won`t win the world cup, but after 4 poor performances your heart kind of sinks after watching such rubbish. i can envisage sven playing that 4/5/1 he played today simply because he never conceded a goal and he loves that. 1-0 wins are just as good as 3-1 wins to him. i`m now looking forward to next saturday against portugal for revenge for beating us in the semis of the euros in 2004

i`d agree with that. i`ve seen pics of arsenals and it`s spectacular. only old trafford rivals it in the league. glad uefa haven`t fell for all the septic fans crying about how magnificent there stadium is when really i think falkirks is better constructed than that contraption.

i`ve got a bit of a soft spot for west ham and i`d love to see them qualifying for europe next season. there a club that never gives in and will give 100% for every match. good luck
