i`m not too good at arithmetic right, but i`d say that by jumping 15 meteres it was either an accident or a cry for help and he didn`t really want to take his life. whats 15 meteres in feet? i`d say trhat there were better ways to finish yourself off than jumping a pissy height. gun? rope? pills? razor?

did you know that EVERY referee in this world cup, germany 2006, is biased towards brazil? a well known fact

i`m now dreading the start of this season as the refs will be out to get rangers with their excuse to book anything that moves now:mad:
-
no, not at all. i was kind of struggling on a few positions and definetly lahm is one i`d change instead of alex. big tel boy has been englands rock although he had a poor game v ecuador but still helped to keep a clean sheet. hargreaves? i know your having a laugh craig!! maxi rodriguez i`d change that one for odonker. but i thought odonker was absolutely superb when he has come on for germany. riquelme is a good shout but i`d stick with ballack.
-
i`m suprised anyone has bothered to talk about this game at all. i was actually thinkingof posting a thread up saying `switzerland v ukraine...who carse??` but decided against it. must`ve known really it was going to be so bad.

think you and me should take a trip down to manchester next season to rough him up a wee bit. every time i say i hate the wee bassa you say it too lol:D i bet 1 minute into the match he falls over with everyone else up the other side of the park. how many step overs will he do and not beat the player? 5, 6, 7?
-
so, quarters almost over. who is in your team of the tournement so far then?? mines......... ..............................................casillas(spain)..................................... ........schneider(germany)..............................................alex(japan)...... ............................kovac(croatia)......terry(england)............................ ...............................................cambiasso(argentina)........................ ......odonker(germany)............................................robben(holland)...... .........................................ballack(germany)..................................... .............................klose(germany).....crespo(argentina)....................... some of them a bit debatable i know but thats what i`m going for at this stage.
-
no, i just thought he was near to the 17 years and 42 days and so i thought if he had played him on saturday it may have beaten it. i didn`t realise he was so far over the 42 days. he`s quite far out from the record
-
yeah i heard that too. think it was in the first group game. but he must be getting close to whitesides record now cause that was 2 weeks ago.
-
i believe so. but uynsure of the ages. whiteside was 17 as is walcott. don`t know the days though. maybe you could supply us stewarty?
-
looks like it`s just me and you anyway stewarty

did you know that in italys first world cup final victory being played at home, italy are alleged to have paid off players and referees to assist them in the title. benito mussolini wanted italy to be known as the world champions and paid for it. ....therefore, czechoslavakia may well be more deserved of that world cup. did you know that in germanys first world cup final victory in 1954 the germans are alleged to have paid off a referee who done hungary out of many decisions and a perfectly good goal. ....therefore, hungary may be more deserved of that world cup. did you know, that in argentinas 1978 campaign at home they paid off a argentine born peruvian keeper to concede six goals in order that argentina got an easier run to the final. also, the argentine military which was in charge of the country at the time made sure their president made `visits` to the opposition dressing room prior to games in which it`s alleged that `money and/or threats took place. .....therefore, holland may be more deserved of that world cup. if the above actually was taken into consideration and everything had been done fairly, then the list would look like this today... world cup winners- brazil(5) germany(2) italy(2) uruguay(2) argentina(1) france(1) england(1) holland(1) czechoslovakia(1) hungary(1)

fair play to you craig. after our "words" last night you have still got a good sense of humour despite everything
-
i tend to agree with what your getting at hear gav. i felt oz should`ve capitalized on their man advantage. but they kept waiting and waiting almost as though they were showing too much respect to italy. scotland learned recently you cannot do that and the best way to take them on is to attack them from the start. yes, i do feel sorry for oz as i was hoping an under dog would go through and they are our blood brothers or whatever. but, they had a greeat chance and hiddink, suprisingly, didn`t take it as i`m sure he must`ve thought he`d be able to cancel them out over 120 mins and penalties because of italys unfortunate status of going out of 3 out of the last 4 world cups on penalties. glorius losers dont go down well with me. tim henman take note

ah ha, now with that humour, you could be in contention for third yourself next season;)
