Valid grievances like those can lose a lot of impact when people claim an anti-Rangers agenda because none of our goals were nominated for goal of the season. We have been unfairly treated in the last 6 years, that is clear and undeniable. It doesn’t help however when people play the victim card every time they see an anti-Rangers conspiracy in their corn flakes. It just takes focus away from the legitimate stuff.

There’s a victim mentality which is becoming more pervasive among our support. It’s sad to see.

It’s all just rumours and gossip at the moment. None of us know what goes on behind the scenes and who is or isn’t guilty of what. I think it’s dangerous to speculate on what certain players may or may not have did when nobody knows outside the confines of the club. Rumours and false narratives have a habit of becoming ‘fact’ online as people convince themselves it must be true, usually because they don’t like whoever is being accused. What is clear is nobody comes out of this well. Not the board, not Murty, not Miller or Wallace and certainly not the club. Yet another embarrassing episode in what has been a nightmare period for the club.

A worrying thought is why are the board backing a manager over the club captain and the most senior player when the manager only has 5 games left? Unless he doesn’t actually have 5 games left...

I’d be surprised if we won any of our remaining fixtures. The acrimony within the squad was obvious on Sunday.

Judging by the reaction around me for his glaring miss yesterday then patience is wearing very, very thin for Morelos. A bit harsh given his age and that he was completely isolated for most of the game but, at the same time, understandable as missing chances he really should be burying is becoming a habit with him especially against them.

If Rangers is an attractive proposition then why are we persevering with a youth coach? Why did McInnes turn us down? Why was our last manager a managerial nobody plucked from the middle of the Qatari league?

I’m not sure you can have a go at any Rangers fan for a lack of optimism after today, or indeed after this season.

I went for 2024. That seem optimistic after today. We are going nowhere as a club.
