And that would be a big mistake that I’d find difficult to understand unless we are in trouble financially, which, from what we believe, is not the case. The new on-fire Morelos (I say that with fingers crossed) is required for us to have a chance of 55.

Healthy debate. Both Goldson and Katic can and will improve but neither of them should be guaranteed 1st picks every week. We have two other capable CBs waiting in the wings and will get their chances so this is the ideal and will spur both on, and why Gerrard has spent heavy on Helander. Goldson has been really solid, can sometimes just hesitate too much with ball at feet - and I’m not sure if it’s lack of confidence in those situations or complacency or over confidence if you like. Katic, more aggressive and quick to act but still not as comfortable covering from a positional sense if the full back is caught out of position. Both provide equal goal threat at the other end. I don’t think we need to rank players that play alongside each other in different positions. I’m happy with both those guys starting most weeks until Helander and Edmundson displace either on merit. We’ve progressed massively defensively each of the last 7 seasons but still much improvement still to be made - and include the FBs in that. Final third is I’m sure still giving SG more headaches when trying to counter low block teams.

They need educated, exactly. Therefore, Rangers Fan Forums need to do their bit by warning young passionate fans and censor the words that are no longer acceptable to drill the message home that use of the words will only harm the club, whether used at matches or in public social discussions online. Yes, I think your definition is fine. However, it was St Mirren we were playing and therefore I’d expect that performance from Jack. He controlled the game, but didn’t do anything spectacular. Borna’s free kick, though, was spectacular and saved our mid-front players’ bacon. He didn’t do anything wrong - quiet but not bad. He did step up when needed and I’m guessing he’s spent a lot of time practicing those and it paid off today - thankfully for all our sakes. To me, that deserved MOTM. ?

Jack was terrific for 90 mins but I’ve gone for Borna, besides the great free kick, he worked hard and didn’t do anything wrong. And won us the game.

Drown them out - perhaps we need help from the clubs tannoy.... penny arcade, blue sea of ibrox, other songs that don’t have alternative lyrics - not as loud as the club blast them out just before kick off - but enough to lead and encourage the support to sing. This should 1. Drown out the sectarian singing of and when required 2. Lift the atmosphere when it’s flat - if people are adhering to the clubs plea - we appreciate that will affect the atmosphere negatively in away games, well I have no solution other than don’t take any tickets until we think we’ve learned.

Sorry one more thing. It’s often said that there is ONE thing that all rangers fans have in common, even if nothing else, and that is the love of our great football club. Having read some comments from so-called fans over the last few hours, I’m not even sure that we have that in common. Sad

A certain minority of fans are above the club, hate most things about the club and people that run the club. But they like to set the rules for how fellow fans should think, say, behave and vote. They expect the club to back them come hell or high water regardless of their behavior or actions and when those actions have harmed the club. I know it’s a minority but they seem to have the loudest voice. Not on here, but you don’t need to look far to find them. Those of us that have the club’s best interests at heart need to be more vocal and speak up on every social network, and fan forum - to drown out the nonsense that is spouted from the faction of fans that just don’t get it. Of course it needs done in a delicate way but we need to call them out. I’ve made a start - no likes as yet, but at least haven’t been called a f$@)&n. ?
