  1. McGregor for me, but was a tight call between him and Greegs.
  2. Totally agree. I watched it back and in the absence of nerves I thought we contained them well first half considering they played the best they have all season. Not at our best, but credit to them for pressing us and challenging - but they still couldn't beat us. That's not a bad performance from us really. Proud of them all.
  3. Right then. That was a nervy watch for me. I didn’t feel good about us before the game to tell the truth and celtic did start as I expected, with high intensity and desire. They looked like the team that needed to win, whilst we seemed to lack the urgency to match them and if it wasn’t for Greegs we could have been two goals down. But the defense did their job and we got the chance to reset at halftime. Thought we started the second half better, our passing was more purposeful and there were a few nice touches in the final third even if we didn’t manage a shot. Morelos didn’t break his duck, but he was crucial to our eventual victory by rolling Bitton and making him commit the red card offense. Delightful from the Buff! The goal itself was a typical Rangers goal of late, great delivery and met with a nice flick from Aribo and anything can happen in the danger area from that point on. So we didn’t play our best, but our defense stood tall again, Davis and Kamara came into their own and started to dictate as you would expect and you can’t be too down with Kent, he doesn’t let his head go down and he still posed a threat, and should have caused them to go another man down after skinning Duffy. Off the bench I thought Hagi did well but particularly Itten looked like he enjoyed toying with them for the last 10 minutes. The players deserve a lot of praise for that performance, we were not lucky to win, they were not unlucky not to win. Nobody panicked, we didn’t bottle it under pressure. We just did the job better on the day and that’s all that counts. We had key players out and they played the best they’ve played all season and couldn’t score against us. Very proud today. This is for the 66.
  4. Feels lethargic, not sure why we’ve not started with intent.
  5. St Mirren 0 Rangers 3 FGS: Roofe
  6. Given our current position, we can be positive for sure. However, this team still need to prove they have the stamina.
  7. Sweating it for the last 20 minutes but we got over the line. Would take that all day long if my heart can. Considering the conditions and the fact Hibs played to their best (imo), I felt that was a very good performance. Most pleasing for me was that Hagi will get another boost in confidence after that goal something I think will do him the world of good.
  8. Hard to pick between all those mentioned. I went for Kamara. Slack pass early on, but he made up for it with a flawless performance there on in.
  9. Merry Christmas and a happy rest of season to you all.
  10. St Johnstone 1 Rangers 2 fgs: Roofe
  11. Roofe no debate. Ball was behind him for both his goals, incredible!
  12. Well apart from down his left side which was completely mocket thanks to Borna’s back mis-header
  13. Unlucky to come up against two world class sides within 4 days. We just have to accept our fait, we’re just not at this level yet.
  14. Would a Motherwell player OG not count as a Rangers goalscorer? Anyway, changed it to a more serious selection. Gotta take you down from your perch mate, just 7 points behind!
  15. I don’t know about that. Top of the list would be ‘sack Gerard’ to be fair ?
  16. When I first saw it, I disliked it. I couldn’t understand the fuss to be honest. When I saw the team run out with it on last night I disliked it even more. It doesn’t look right, we didn’t look like Rangers, they looked unfamiliar. I had a horrible feeling about it all. I Facetimed my brother just as they kicked off, he was only wearing the damn thing with a big smile on his face...”see what their wearing?” he said. “Aye, and it looks just as ridiculous on them as it does on you” I replied. Anyway, that was the worst we’ve played this season and I hope to god they never wear it again. I hate the sight of it. I wonder how many of retro tops will have been returned to the shop today? And how many are already wrapped up and under the tree already....poor kids. I hope they don’t pull that stunt for the anniversary. As John Bennet said, let’s celebrate and look forward to the next 150 years, it’s not all about the past.
  17. Alfredo MOTM. Seriously though, I’m not sure why I even came on this thread... why am I here? I wouldn’t single anyone out for a good or bad performance. They had some credit in the bank so as much as I feel they’ve betrayed us badly, I can get over it so long as they renew their vows and don’t ever cheat us again.
  18. Short answer for a new member. I question why you would join this forum and offer very little knowledge about the Most Successful Football Club in the world and express more curiosity about what we think of their worthless, tainted titles (or tables?), unless you are one of them.
  19. Our winning streak was going to end at some point. It was a bad night, typical cup game, they were up for it and grew in confidence as the game went on. No excuses really. But...as long as this doesn’t derail our main goal, and in some way it may be a blessing in disguise, as hard as that is to fathom.
  20. It could have been though. Would we have played any different? It’s a wake up call, no more, no less.
