  1. The only thing good about that game is the yahoos will have watched until the end hoping, and will go away gutted.
  2. I said Gazzaesque, but I think Maradona is more like it 😁
  3. Great goal from Tillman, quite Gazza-esque
  4. This is a tough watch. Not sure if we're nervous after Wednesday, they're just becoming less capable with each passing week or they just can't be bothered.
  5. Motherwell 1 Rangers 3 FGS: Colak
  6. Goldson will be a big miss, it's lucky we have cover in Helander, that we bought Souttar, we have Balogun, have King to cover him effectively
  7. and go where? (I don't disagree with you, but there just aren't any options)
  8. Tav's form isn't good. You can't single him out, you're right, but if you're not leading by example I think it does have an affect on the team.
  9. Only if Elgin are playing like utter shite
  10. 1-7 at home. fucking hell.
  11. a lot longer than 10 mins ago
  12. Rangers 1 Liverpool 4 FGS: Tav
  13. Normally I'd vote for the man that scored the two goals, especially as the second was sublime! However, I voted Sakala for his contributions, the goal was very well taken, but more for the initiative he took to run right through the middle and find Colak. Probably his best game in a Rangers shirt. We need more of that from him, and if he can deliver he will nail down a place in this team.
  14. Downer before the game even starts. Nearly, ah well. 3 points and a good performance needed today.
  15. Rangers 2 St Mirren 0 FGS Sakala
  16. Hard to disagree with your player ratings, McGregor probably a 9 for me though, if he had positioned himself better at the free kick, I'd have given him a 10 as well 😉
  17. That's not the point, we didn't even try to give it a go, we were beaten before we started. I don't mind the result but we set up wrong, we set up not to get thumped by 6 goals, and it didn't even work. McGregor was the only reason we weren't. Yes, we can't expect to get may points against these teams if that's what people mean by being unable to compete, but aren't we capable of fighting for every ball, making them work for their win, making them feel like they've been in a war? Liverpool didn't even get out of 2nd gear, the scoreline flattered us. Not the game plan I want to see. GvB needs to grow some balls because he's passing his defeatist attitude on to the players, or some of them at least. That's what I saw.
  18. GvB did offer you 2-0 at kick-off, with that starting 11. I'd have preferred more of a fight and lose 4-0. I don't know what we can learn from that apart from McGregor is still a great shot stopper.
  19. I know, GVB said he doesn't play two strikers, but I think we could, even if Alfie plays in a deeper role or on the right, but having him there as extra fire power and holding the ball up and link the play with Colak central to take the chances is an opportunity missed.
  20. Both should be playing. I can't for the utter life of me understand how we can not pay a system that incorporates both Morelos and Colak.
  21. What a night for young King, I hope he can handle it. I think Gio missed an opportunity to have Morelos playing off Colak on the right, but we knew he wouldn't. Well I guess if I had to pick one of them in a game like this it would be Alfie. Just hope they all get stuck in, give their all and focus for the full 90mins.
  22. Liverpool 3 Rangers 1 FGS: Tav
  23. Hearts 0 Rangers 3 FGS: Arfield
  24. Only 7 games played so far this season. Of the 6 games played against the rest, Rangers have won more points than them, so far. The performances haven't been at the required standard, but results state we have started better than the world beaters. GvB needs to find the SG winning formula against them and if we can improve the level of performance, this season may not be a right off after all. Couple of big IFs in there but....let's see.
  25. Colak is taking his chances so that's one positive.
