I think Hladky would be a good back up keeper. You would expect he wouldn’t cost much in terms of a fee or wages. His ball-playing stats are outstanding.

Great news. He was unfairly judged at times by fans who expected perfection but ultimately he is a player who is a cut above what we have technically and I think we should set the team up to make best use of his abilities.

The released players are as expected. I say it every summer but I think we need to learn from mistakes and prioritise quality. Every season we spread our wage budget thin when what we need are big players, Hagi being a good example.

Annoyed as I am about the whole thing, ultimately we bottled it big time in 2020 and gift-wrapped the title for them long before the SPFL did.

That blames the manager and the coaching team. SG definitely pushed to sign Ryan Kent who has not lived up to expectations.
Those expectations were never warranted so the buck still stops with the manager there.

Yeh I don’t get the heavy criticism of Tavernier. He created the best chance of the game for us and got the assist with a very good corner. But more importantly I just thought he was involved in good passages of play in that second half when we picked it up. At the very least I don’t think he should be singled out.

That was as dire a show from our midfield as we had this year
I actually thought Kamara did well in spells and was one of the better performers when we came back into it.

You've never really hidden the fact that just not a fan of Kent ?.
The surprise was mainly due to the fact he was 1 of only 3 players picked out for praise

Because I think he deserved it for his application, his positivity, for not giving up. Not everything came off but his job is to create and he did that on several occasions. All you’ve done is badmouth one of our few players who actually tried tonight.
That’s not all I’ve done at all.

Fair result. Pass marks for Kamberi, Hagi, Kent. Deep negatives for Davis, Aribo, Morelos. The rest merely ineffective. Season over, some highs, too many lows. Too many quitters, not enough warriors. Let’s hope we all survive to see a better Rangers next season.
I also thought Morelos showed desire and did well in spells in dropping deep and switching the play. He should have done better at times but he had very little supply and I thought he was part of the reason we came back into it.

How does Kent get a pass mark? ?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! I don't see why it is a mistake! none of the players have been playing well so the manager picks the team he thinks can win the match!.
It’s just my opinion. I think he’s twice the player Kent is and showed it when he came on.

I don't think many fans really believed we would win this match/tie! different class of quality are Leverkusen
I certainly didn’t. It’s still been frustrating to watch at times. Really poor in the final third. On the other hand it was good to see a fight put up for a long spells of the second half and three or four good performances.

Hagi has been excellent. it was a mistake not to start him, he brings so much quality to the side.

I thought Polster was poor there tbh. He left the man in far too much space.

So frustrating to see the lack of quality when we get in a decent position

To his credit Kent has done well to win a free kick there. Excellent play from Hagi though playing him in. We missed his quality through balls.

That was bizarre. A free header 6 yards out. Great delivery from Tav.

How is Kent still on the pitch

We’ve lost our momentum. Morelos to his credit looks very hungry and is doing well.

The Summer 2020 Transfer Window Now Closed: Zungu signs on loan with option to buy

I don't think we can afford to spend £1.75m on potential this season. Lewis Ferguson is only 20 years old so there's no doubt he is one for Rangers to keep tabs on. But let's be honest Greg Docherty is probably a better player. I think we should be saving our transfer fee kitty for 2-3 big players who walk into the first team.
