When I mentioned that we are "staring disaster in the face" if things don't change, this is the disaster I was referring to. Unless things change drastically, we are looking at a very low points total this season and Celtic are trending towards a very high points total. People are still underestimating them, perhaps not realising they made some good signings very late in the window. And yes people like to mock these kind of tables but this time last year they were the ones mocking them and very little changed from October/November to May. Celtic have a much easier fixture list ahead too so it really is going to be challenge to find form.

It can be harder to put in a 6/10 performance when the rest of the team are 4/5s than to put in a 8/10 performance when the rest of the team are at that level too. So I think “least bad” votes do have value.

Whilst I agree, like I said a few weeks ago I can't help but think we just need to mix it up with a new formation to bring fresh energy to this team. It's gotten so stale. It's been months now and we aren't even getting better, that's three home draws from our last four league games. And Hibs had an early red card in the one we won by the skin of our teeth after going behind. That could easily have been four winless home league games in a row.

I agree. As much as I don't want to "drop" Tavernier, Patterson would offer a real threat with his runs and he would provide some fresh impetus. His runs mix things up and cause a bit of chaos. We really badly lack players who will take guys on just now, it's often the best and easiest way to break teams down. Far too often it's side to side passing and there have been occasions recently where it seems we have broken away on a wing, only to slow down, turn around and pass backwards and before you know it the ball is back to Goldson! It's infuriating.

I am worried. Our form has been poor all season. Celtic are in full flow and have looked a better team than us for a while now. Gerrard needs to sort this out. We have much more difficult fixtures ahead.

Very poor. As things stand, Celtic are a point behind us. And that’s after being to Ibrox, Tynecastle, Easter Road and Pittodrie. Surely everyone has woken up to the fact that we are staring disaster in the face now? Massive second half coming up.

I wonder if Hagi has in mind that Kent will be returning soon and he’s trying to make himself hard to drop. He’s catching form anyway.

Away to St Mirren after a European match was a very tricky tie so I’ll take the 3 points, especially after going 1 down so early. Our record of coming from behind to win away from home is terrible. So I’m very happy with the points, on to the next challenge.

It’s an astonishing return. It’s easy to forget how hard it is to reach full fitness when you are constantly picking up injuries, yet he scores at this rate. That is why I see him as one of our most important players.

I actually think there are a lot of positives to take from that and it could be used as a bit of a springboard. The forwards are starting to find a flow. Equally, it has to be said that we showed the same defensive frailties against an ordinary side and still a lack of ruthlessness in front of goal so we’re not out of the woods yet.

We’re still ball watching! Another let off because we are watching the man at the byline instead of the men who are actually in dangerous positions. Really basics defensive mistakes.

They were pelting Tav when he was taking a corner.

That mistake sums up our season so far, about 10 seconds into the second half. Another big let off.

I was nervous when he lost the ball in the middle of the park which prompted a counter attack, and then maybe could have scored the header before the goal. But he came alive and is looking good now.

Encouraging signs from Morelos in the last 10 minutes there. So unlucky with the shot and some really good touches before that. Positive play from Hagi and Aribo tonight too.

On the first replay I thought it was off but when they ruled it onside it’s mad not to believe them, second replay showed it was on

It hasn’t been scintillating but it’s 2-0! We have an opportunity here to kick start our season.
