He looked brilliant and the kind of player who would fit in with us. Turns out it was Durmus who was at St Mirren last year! Really makes you wonder about the level of these leagues which we always assume are much higher than Scotland.

I'm optimistic on Sands but he's a sitting midfielder, in his own words he does "nothing fancy". For me, Kamara is one of the most well-rounded midfielders we've had in a while and is comfortable all over the park.

Kent every day of the week for me. But that won't be a surprise to anyone. We'd need a replacement of course.

It's just that Kamara is streets ahead of Sands on the ball, and going forward. Ryan Jack, yes but obviously there's the risk. Lundstram, again just a big downgrade.

That gives me the fear. Kamara is the Goldson of our midfield. Always available, never injured, and very consistent.

With the current squad it isn’t a massive gamble in terms of the football. We have competent players whether he would be fit or not. If this is because we’re selling Aribo or Kamara though I reserve the right to panic.
