Morelos off for Lafferty. I think the fresh legs will be welcome, Morelos has looked tired and hasn’t held on to much in this half.

Great play there but Middleton is offside with a goal

Arfield immense again, what a tackle. Cazorla already looking a cut above after coming on.

Middleton in a centre forward position which I think is pretty clever from Gerrard, looking dangerous on the break

Goldson bailed out yet again

We’re set up very positively considering we’d be happy with a draw. We’re not really looking like we can hang on at the moment though, it’s a bit of a gamble.

Pin point corner from Middleton again, really good to see how consistent he is with them.

I think he jumped in with a lot of adrenaline and it looked he’d stood on the player deliberately but on seeing it again he didn’t really make much contact so I agree it wasn’t a yellow. But you can tell from the way he needlessly jumped in that he was going after the player.

A bit harsh but not that harsh, he followed through deliberately on the player after a foul hadn’t been given our way.

Referee is allowing Villarreal off with murder though, constant fouls.

Candeias has lost his head there, second yellow.

McGregor bails out Flanagan big time. I’d take on Halliday at half time.

Just poor slack passing for the most part.

Worrall and Arfield have been immense.

Goldson having a really poor game. Played Ekambi onside and Worrall and McGregor bailed him out. Not the first big mistake from Goldson.

Worrall the pick of the defenders for me so far. Flanagan the weak point in the team but a number are guilty of giving away possession a lot.

Good chance from great play from Arfield, Candeias and Morelos. Another wasted delivery from Tavernier there though.

Poor start to be honest, so many slack passes. Very open though.

Quite happy with that starting lineup. Should be solid with the two defensive mids and that will hopefully give us the platform to keep a clean sheet and nick a goal.
