The Fifth (formerly Semi-Annual) Official Gersnet Dinner
plgsarmy replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Later in the season is best for me. I have a (really) big birthday on 10th December and will be retired after that so could fit in any date. -
The thing is Craig, due to the nature of my job I couldn't go on to talk about sectarianism or racism. I'd probably face disciplinary action if I did.
-
Thanks Frankie. It looks like the members of RM don't share your view. Calling me a senile old woman and embarrassing. I'm sure you'll confirm that you asked me if I would do it and it wasn't done via Club 1872. In addition, one of the producers told me specifically that it was not going to be about sectarianism, purely about the game. Just as well I don't give a shit about what people say.
-
James Durrant was a last minute addition as a business trip got cancelled.
-
Surprised he wasn't already aware.
-
I'm not sure. We're debating whether to put it in the members section or for general view.
-
I disagree. You're claiming they were told they had to appear in person so I'd like to know who told them. You don't have to give names of potential candidates.
-
Have you been on here since you failed to get elected to the RF board?
-
Bruce, who were these candidates and who did they ask?
-
It was filmed and will be put on our website.
-
The funny thing is Bruce we have only been asked that question once via e-mail since the launch in May and that was only last week. That is out of over 2,500 e-mails we have responded to.
-
Bruce, why don't you just ask me? All groups have been fairly consistent in terms of who went to the meetings. Iain Paton from the RST went to one meeting in someone's place. The only group who had a number of people attend was RF - attendees at various times have been James Blair, Ricki, Richard Scott, Peter Ewart, Greg Marshall, Donahoe and Johnston.
-
I'm almost scared to ask.
-
I think that's unfair Bruce. At least five of the WG are on holiday this week but I'm sure we'll contact the Club and establish exactly the rationale behind this decision and then make a decision in terms of response.

Rangers fans' group in crisis as three chiefs quit in row over management

How were we supposed to know his Twitter account from his e-mail address? -

Well if you want to go down that route, why is it that there is no trace of any of the e-mails coming in or anything being sent out? There would have been no problem answering his questions had they come in on 27th May. I was answering e-mails that day and I think I would have remembered that one. -

He was e-mailed, yes, but at no time was he told that the person was known. His screenshots were taken at face value but further information received leads us the believe they were not authentic. -

It was never said to him that the person was known and no calls were made to the (correct) phone number and no Voicemails left. -

I think you'll find that 'she' said no such thing. -

It said the quote was from RF. The resignations have nothing to do with Club 1872. -
It's open those hours from Monday-Friday and will be open on match days.

Perhaps I'm on an all expenses paid trip to see how the Tenerife Supporters Trust operates. At least I'm not at NARSA.
-
Now done. I'm in Tenerife at the moment so it better be good.
-
Sorry I've been unable to get on here in the past few days. Basically Chris is going to NARSA at his own expense. He has friends over there. When the club heard this they suggested he might was to do a half hour session on Club 1872. The clarify, Chris is paying for this himself - not the Club, Club 1872 nor the RST.
