Isn't this flying in the face of what we were told the fund was set up for? This is not a running cost for the club, it's a debt. I probably won't be popular for saying so but this is a debt caused by Craig Whyte and the fans have paid it off for him.

Do you honestly believe anyone would give £1m as a donation. The RST has spoken to this guy and he is 100% sincere but he is waiting until a share issue. He did not get the money he has by being stupid. He wants something to pass on to his family.

Given that Monty, Andy Smillie and one other ensured that safeguards were put in place so that the money didn't go directly to the administrators then I'm sure that nobody disagrees with the RFFF. What I find pathetic though is that even at a time when we should all be pulling together, there are people whose hatred of fellow Rangers fans is so great that they would put out lies about what was said at the meeting. I can't get my head around that.

I was meaning the difference between investment and donations rather than the two initiatives.

Why should they? One is about future investment in the Club and the other is about donations.

Some people from another website (I'll leave that to your imagination) were saying that Mark was asked to suspend the saverangers website and that he said he would (even although that wasn't within his power to decide). Mark said that he got up and explained the differences between the two initiatives and agreed that everyone who had pledged would be sent an e-mail about the RFFF. He was called a liar for saying this but Sandy Jardine confirmed it tonight when asked by someone from same website. No doubt they will set up a blog to apologise.

He probably already is. But then maybe he didn't go onto a site and call the owner a liar. Just a thought.

Well, well. It appears that the very same question was asked about Mark at the meeting in Northern Ireland tonight. Sandy Jardine's answer was almost word for word as Mark eplained it.

They haven't said they don't. They've just agreed to contribute towards the leaflets at the last home game.

I will defend the Trust especially when people put up wrong information as you did. Both the Association and the Assembly have committed money for the saverangers campaign so it is not simply by the RST as you had indicated.

I don't think it is in use but the worry is that someone could set something up. Anyway, I've e-mailed Andy Kerr and he will get it checked out.

No the guy registered under his real name (Alex something) and then it was changed to Rangersforme. That's as much as I know as I am banned from that website.

I think there is a way of giving it as a gift whereby there are no fees but if everyone did that then they may go out of business.

To be honest I think they are a bunch of Rangers fans who were a bit frustrated that nothing was happening. There was a long thread on RM about it and quite a lot said they would invest in it so they went ahead. Not recommended as nobody really knows who they are.
