  1. The Community Share scheme can accept credit cards.
  2. TB, they are buying a share in the Community Share Scheme whose sole purpose is to buy Rangers shares (or, as it turned out, the holding company's shares). They will collectively own all the shares as they will be members of the RST. I've had the certificate for the wall and the AGM invites, it didn't do any of us any good. Once the shares are listed I will probably get one so that I can attend the AGM but the rest of my money is going into the collective effort. Monies invested before Tuesday will be going to the IPO so people are investing in the Club when they otherwise couldn't.
  3. Sorry to hear that. It took me a wee while to get my head round this but my feeling is that if everyone goes it alone and buys shares that we are going to be left in exactly the same position as before. Lots of small shareholders with no voice. What about in five years time if another ego-maniac comes along and decides to buy up shares and use us as a plaything? I think we are very vulnerable to that, especially if the share price falls and the institutional investors decide they want out.
  4. Surely what happened in the summer shows that we can never be shareholders in the Club? I thought I had over 500 shares in the Club, turns out I was wrong otherwise those shares would still be valid would they not?
  5. If it stops us paying Media House fortunes then it's not a bad appointment.
  6. Smudger has now been invited, good to hear.
  7. And it's good to see that they have stuck to that.
  8. Andy Kerr spoke to Ally this morning and he is right behind it.
  9. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was guest of honour at the RST dinner a couple of years ago. Fantastic person.
  10. John is a lovely man, an absolute gentleman but sometimes he can seem a bit out of touch, especially amongst the online community.
  11. Thank you for that. Perhaps if you are near the WRC on Saturday you could get Shorerdbear to buy you a pint. Mine is a Coke - diet of course.
  12. Charles Green stated at a meeting with fans groups (I think it was the one the night before the RST AGM) that he is not in favour of boycotts. It'll take massive persuasion on behalf of the fans to get him to change his mind and I'm not sure the fans are together on this one. Future League games yes but we share the gate here so we are potentially doing the Club out of money and I think the team needs our support. I have to say I'm a bit torn here.
  13. If you can point to the posts where either Gunslinger or me said those words then please do so. Post numbers will suffice Having said all that thanks for your comments
  14. It's nothing like the truth and if you believe that then you are beyond help.
  15. What a great post and sort of reflects the way I was feeling at the time. I've always felt that the Club should be in the hands of those who love it most and that it Rangers supporters. It's disappointing to read the post by 3909 04 which displays not only a lack of understanding of what was happening but an absolute hatred of fellow Rangers fans. For the record, I think Paul Murray was let down by others in his consortium and is a totally decent guy.
  16. I'm very sorry for your loss and I certainly didn't mean to trivialise it by my comments. I'm taking it as a good sihn that they were able to operate and hopefully remove the cancer but I'm not an expert on it. My father had stomach cancer and they were able to completely remove it by operating so hopefully it will be the same with Sandy. It will all depend on how far advanced it is.
  17. Looks like you've been accused of lying too. Oh well!
  18. There are only two people in the RST with any access to money. Me and the Treasurer. Of course, I'm posting this from my house in France which I bought with £93K of Gersave money.
  19. So you are saying I'm lying, even although I have far greater knowledge about this than you. Okay then but you didn't mention these fund-raising schemes that the ex-Board members aren't involved in.
  20. I must have missed the 'Go home Yanks' banner.
  21. Jeez, how many times do I have to say that we had nothing to do with the banners and I don't think the person who paid for them posts on any website. As for 'not one is seen to be involved in any RST-backed fund-raising schemes' what fund-raising schemes are you talking about? As for your last question, I have no idea, I suspect it has no effect but I don't know.
  22. Gosh, you really have been mis-informed. The reason that we were supporting TBK was because they came to us to explain their plans. Any opposition to Bill Miller was nothing to do with his nationality, it was his newco plan. The banners at Ibrox were nothing to do with the RST, why don't you speak to the man who paid for them and tell him he is an embarrassment, As for your point about the others having moved on from the RST, I believe they are all still members but being on the Board takes up quite a lot of spare time.
  23. I was talking about the RST Board, not the forum.
  24. If the fans don't take this opportunity to invest as much as possible we are leaving ourselves open to someone buying up shares in a few years time and using us as a plaything, again.
  25. Only three of the people you mention are still on the Board as and I am one of them perhaps I shouldn't comment, although I will. I am on FF but I probably post more on this site. Many of the people you mention haven't been on the Board for years. I've never denied that there was a link to FF, it's natural that would be the case as that's where the RST started. However, anything we put out goes on our own site first and is e-mailed out to members.
