  2. A massive own goal by the Board but just proves to me that CG is still pulling the strings.
  3. Brian Smart was on the phone to CG within 5 minutes of the end of a meeting - allegedly.
  4. It will be interesting to see what happens re the requisition, given that three of the five present are named in it.
  5. Where does it say that Zappa? I'm reading that these are from 2006-13 and says his then registered Club.
  6. Funny he wasn't bothered about the cost of an EGM when they wanted his brother on the Board.
  7. Lots of ifs there. It would surely have to be independent of the club if it was buying shares at any time.
  8. Going back to the topic, I don't think a membership scheme would work until we have fan ownership. This seems like an expansion of the Assembly which we will pay for. It may be more representative which is a good thing but I'm unsure whether this will capture the imagination of those fans who already buy season tickets and merchandise. Getting a greater say and even Board representation means very little (and I know I am going against RST aims here) while we are a PLC. LSE regulations would prevent the rep(s) from disclosing anything. Would having a Board rep have made any difference in terms of what has gone on recently? I personally think we should be going all out for fan ownership.
  9. There is only one connection and he is only a small part of the RST Board.
  10. I think it was received on Thursday 1st August so I would say 22nd.
  11. Is that for real? Edit. I see it was on Charlotte Fakeovers
  12. Why would the contract for an employee have to be approved by the Board? I'm sure I read somewhere recently that the CEO or Chairman could do that. IA was not on the Board so would they have to approve it?
  13. Was going to ask you before the forum went down. Were you in the Main Stand Section J for the Newcastle game?
  14. Good to have a bit of sanity back.
  15. That may well change.
  16. Exactly. Board costs of £1.2m? Okay you have Mather and Stockbridge taking about £800K (maximum and I suspect much less). Is he saying that the NEDs are taking out £400K? Also backroom staff - I'm not sure who would be included but we know that Ally is on around £700K and KMcD around £250K. There will also be ID and coaches but £3M? I just can't see it, even counting on costs.
  17. I'd love to see a breakdown of the costs he is quoting.
  18. I got it on Kindle yesterday. A great read so far. Well done to all the contributors.
  19. It's truly pathetic Frankie. You guys have said this from day one. Of course, they are only using it to have a dig at the RST. You'd better not tell them that we have shares in your publisher.
  20. What is The Glasgow Rangers Football Club plc?
  21. Club directors are covered by confidentiality clauses set out by the London Stock Exchange. I'm not sure how much can be made public.
  22. I think he's a non-executive director.
  23. Can I ask why?
