That was their choice. They wanted us not to comment on anything except fan ownership and for SD to be our spokespeople. We refused.

Just talking about the alternative merchandise and how all profits will be going to purchase shares in a new share issue so money will be going directly to the club. I did add hopefully under a new board but they missed that out.

Okay, executive decision from me. If you buy three Community Shares then I will donate a Life Membership to the forum. Just don't tell anyone.- 168 replies

What you are saying is not correct re Buy Rangers. A group can join as a member and purchasr Community Shares. I just signed up the Denny and District RSC at the weekend. They bought a life membership and ten Community Shares.- 168 replies

To participate in Buy Rangers you need to be a member, this is a legal requirement. Not something we made up. Perhaps RF doesn't come into this as they are donation based.

Also RST member for many years. He'll be a great addition.

Rab, do you really believe that these people wish that? Of course they don't. We just want the club to be in the right hands, where money put in by whatever method goes to the club and not to line the pockets of Mike Ashley and his cronies.
-
More importantly, I think, is that they have voted against resolutions 8 and 9. Not good IMHO.

I think that's a bit unfair Zappa. Gordon had no idea what was going on. He wasn't a Board member so had no access to the financials.

Since I am in charge of the money, I can't help but take that personally. It's up to you but, because of that little bit of publicity today there is a further £5K going towards shares in the upcoming share issue.

I've just realised that I know Les, I worked beside him at LDA. -
To be honest, it's not something we've even discussed. I suspect that it was a case of people who accused some of us of destabilising the club by protesting against the board seemed to think it's okay to protest against Ally. As it turned out there were no protests therefore no anti-protest protest, if that makes sense.
