  1. Not Sure ? But Walter has gone against the Majority opinion of his own support who do not want this guy near Ibrox so he must take responceability for his actions.
  2. Sky Sports say its a done deal http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_3652807,00.html Dont know what Walter's thinking is here
  3. Little things like this raises Carlos's profile even higher and also his price to the premiership hawks ready to swoop Cuellar will stay at Ibrox in my opinion at least for 1 more season as with a few quality signings this summer we will have a very good team.
  4. Hope to god its not true about Cuellar as it would show a total lack of ambition on the clubs part and proves to everyone we are a selling club at the right price. Would not accept anything less than £14M for Cuellar if they want him they must pay top $$$ , the Davis - Cousin swap deal would be a good bit of business as Couisin hasnt kicked his own arse for us for ages and Davis has a lot of potential.
  5. I am sick to the stomach at last nights outcome after the sheep put in there 2nd goal i had to leave the room as couldnt keep my composure any longer we gave it to the tims on a plate. Who is to blame the SPL who could not afford us 1 measley game off against Dundee Utd in fear of offending the Mopes in the east and the conspiritors. causing us to play an unamaginable amount of games in the shortest period of time , i tell you if the sock was on the other foot and timmy was in the same situation there would be cries from the rooftops too get games postponed. Walter Smith ??? We have heard enough about 4-5-1 but his indesicion on making subs during games drives me up the wall he leaves it far too late bringing them on. His persistance in playing D.Cousin - this guy is not a Ranger and does not deserve to pull on the jersey - get him shipped out asap. Sticking with the same team week in week out and not giving youth a chance. I think Walter and co have done a great job and is the right person for Rangers but he is not without his faults The Players. I cannot really fault our players as the games they have had to play must have been gruelling and energy sapping but not everyone gave 110% all the time chasing lost causes and winning 2nd balls, winning 50-50's apart from a select few Cuellar,Weir,Thomson,Novo,Fergie,JCD i thought the rest could have given more to the cause in the run in. I think it is a mixture of all of these , i will never forgive the SPL for this season they showed their colours well and true, all Rangers fans should boycott every away ground next season and hit them were it hurts IN THE POCKET see how the SPL like it then. Hopefully with a few quality signings this summer we will be back stronger next season and win the Title on our own terms. Bitterly Dissapointed but in a No Surrender frame of mind W.A.T.P
  6. That would be good he is a lot better than any commentator i know around just now , just a matter of time ?
  7. A warm welcome Ricky to the Forum Tommy Burns was one of footballs nice guys and a great friend of my hero Ally McCoist and too see Ally carrying the coffin in tears along with Walter it moved me , the bridge between the old firm got a lot smaller as the two sides paid there respects to a football great. look forward to a bit of banter with you in the future.
  8. Fair Do's but it was a hypathetical question in the first place , can you come up with better ??????
  9. Glasgow Rangers Football Club ??? whats the differance Glasgow Rangers is fine with me
  10. If McGregor goes to Spurs in the summer as rumoured ? Plus Frey is World Class , dont think he would come here to the SPL unfortunately.
  11. He is on a kings ransom at Liverpool , would he take a wage drop ?
  12. Totally agree was dissapointed when he left , gave us pace and he could finsh if he didnt have too much time to think about it , Get him Signed.
  13. From 18.05.2008 Werder Website. Ivan Klasnic, on the other hand, wasnââ?¬â?¢t quite so composed. The announcement of his departure in the last week meant that he would only get his chance to say bid adieu to the Werder fans who had travelled to the BayArena. The Croatian international was beckoned to the away block several times to celebrate his achievements with the club. The effect made its mark on the striker: ââ?¬Å?When it finishes like this then itââ?¬â?¢s natural that all the memories of the last seven years rise to the surface. You think about how successful we have been and how much of a role you played in that success. I would have really liked to sign off with a goal today but it wasnââ?¬â?¢t to be.ââ?¬Â The Croatian international didnââ?¬â?¢t want to release details of his destination on Saturday but one thing is clear about his future, he will be joining his Werder team mates Frings, Fritz, Borowski, Mertesacker, Rosenberg, Harnik and Almeida in representing their respective countries at the European Championships.
  14. You know you could be onto something there , you know what Minty is like. Rangers should not pick up the phone for bids less than £12M if we get any.
  15. No , they are solid players that are hard to get by if you are a striker , i would love the likes of Terry,Mexes,Ramos, etc but its not going to happen we have to go for players within reason , no that we are going for any of the players i quoted its just 1 Bears opinion
  16. GK. S.Frey Fiornetina £7M DF S.Taylor Newcastle £4M DF R.Jones Hibs ? £800K DF Shittu Watford £1.5M MF S.Davis Fulham £3M MF R.Queresma Porto £6M MF P Lovenkrands Schalke £2.5M ST S.Fletcher Hibs £3M ST M.Gomez Stuttgart £5M ST J.Klass Hunttelar Ajax £9M Total £41.8M Mr Murray get the Cheque book out
  17. Lampard for £7M is it charity week at the Bru , if thats true Inter have got themselves one of the best midfielders in Europe for dirt cheap in my opinion i like his style of play and he is a bluenose too.
  18. I was there as well , about 300 people (wont call them fans) singing the *** songs and booting in the shutters of Boots the chemist , i felt sick to the stomach when i seen this happening i had just made it through the warzone of Market Street and then seeing this , these people shamed our club and country I dont care if they all were not Rangers fans (which they were not) the world see's them with our colours and tars us all with one Brush. I happen to work for a company with offices in Manchester , today i felt as low as i could get speaking to them as they know who i support and i tell you this they are PISSED at us and want to see us kicked out of Europe for what happend down there its unlikely but they are pushing for it. "Thanks A Lot You Ned Tossers Please Fuck Off And Die And Leave Our Great Club Alone"
  19. Your right mate , and they know it .
  20. No disresepct to Phil O'Donnel but Burns was way more connected to the club player/manger/coach , so with this happening so close to the Utd game why isnt there a shout to call it off like the O'Donnell case , is it cos Celtic have a chance to win the title , Ur Dam right it is they have the summer to mourn Tommy Burns the Celtic Legend , Wonder what he would think of this situation gave his life to the club and is treated as a side show when passing away , "Sorry Tommy Your Loyal Celtic Fans Dont Have Time For You Just Now" they would rather worry about the league than honour one of their own.
  21. Yeah , was thinking they might call the game against dundee utd off as a mark of respect but they have a chance to win the league so respect goes out the window.
  22. Yeah Utd wont be looking to do us any favours , tonights game is the key if we score enough against st mirren then we have a chance going into the last day Will be undescribably gutted if we do not bring the SPL trophy back to Ibrox Timmy does not deserve to win it off the back of our fuck ups.
  23. Have we blown the League title now after dropping more points , we are handing timmy this league on a plate. i am not happy with the we we are playing , walter leaves it too late to go and attack teams and get the 3 points. We must bring in some quality in the summer and ditch this 4-5-1 formation tonigjt is a must win , if we do not win by at least 3 goals clear i think its over as D.Utd wont try as hard against celtic after all the mccurry carry on and the sheep will play out of there skin against us as usual. We need 6 points on the board and a barrel load of goals to go with it but if we go 4-5-1 , will we get them i dont think so. Come on Rangers one last push for the Treble.
  24. Just wanted to know your views on this , not just the screens going down in Piccadilly , as soon as i arrived in Manchester it was shoulder to shoulder all the way in every direction a sea of red white and blue made me proud to be a Ger , proceeded to Piccadilly Square which was packed like sardines in the soring heat with people out of the game lying in corners was a bit if a state and that was about 14.00 Was a struggle to move in any direction they were packing us in but there was just not enough space , was with my pal and we both decided the chances of getting a view of the screens from our position wasnt going to happen so we decided to head for Albert Square took us 40 minutes to reach the other end of piccadilly as we couldnt get throught the way we came in as there were too many people there , Once in Albert Square the atmosphere was great a bit more space to move around , there were beachballs and lilos being thrown around and the dj playing music a genuine good atmosphere so to later on see the viloence that kicked off in piccadilly i was a bit suprised but then found out the screen didnt work I got caught up in the trouble heading back to the train station a fan had been knocked down by a car and Rangers fans were desperate to help him but the police were having none of it the guy was out cold , then a van full of riot police appeared from nowhere and about 30 - 40 of them assumed formation and just charged at anyone in Blue who happened to be there i got hit in the stomach as i was standing talking to my friend , i saw a guy get beat to a pulp who was talking to his pal with his back to the riot police the boy was about 18 -19 On this street there were a lot of Rangers fans but the crowd was to see if the guy who was out cold after being hit with a car was going to be ok , in my opinion there was absolutly no need for riot police to be there as all the major incedents were in piccadilly My Girlfriends Boss got smacked in the balls by one of the riot police and this guy is as quite as a mouse. Apart from the madness that follewed the game i had a really good time in Albert Square like many other fans , was dissapointed at the result but thought the boys played well and was proud of them so overall i wont let a bunch of arsehole and middleaged neds wreck my memories.
  25. Its just what the Media want the General publiuc to see and here , i do not deny that there was hooligans and thugs in our colours causing it with the police , but how lucky was the guy i seen getting the life beaten out of him by 3 riot police against a wall after they charged at everyone in sight after turning up in a riot van, i escaped with a blow to the stomach. These people including myself were standind chatting The police were heavy handed and beating whoever was in Range of there Batons no matter why you were in the area they were under orders to attack anyone to do with Rangers.
