I say no , as i think we do have decent players in our squad but Smith needs to stop arsing about and try a different approach to his tactics and give some of the fringe players a chance. McGregor isnt as good as he was last season Why he doesnt start Beasley on the left baffles me. Ferguson looks not ready and games pass him by. Darcheville had a good season last year but is dead wood this year we should punt him in January. Lafferty is not a winger and should be played as a striker. Nacho Novo should start more games. Some Great points made Frankie , we seem to get money and spend it on players with possible potential rather than a proven/Finished article player that could be bought for the same or slightly more money. I also am happy with the peformances but its points that count we need all players firing in with goals this season not just Kris Boyd. I genuinely believe we have a stronger squad than last season but i dont think Smith knows his best 11 and everyones best position yet and we are in to November and its costing us points. I reckon if we drop him again his confidence will hit rock bottom and his season will suffer and our results. I agree his peformances have been shaky of late but i think he needs one great performance to get him back on track as on his day he is a top drawer goalie. But if Smith does decide to drop him then i will go along with that as i rate Alexander as well and reckon he will do a good job if needed.
