I wonder if he asked, and received, permission from John Brown, Ally McCoist, Andy Goram, Paul Murray, El Hadji Diouf, Dave King, Alastair Johnston and Stuart McCall, among others, to use their image on the poster? I mean this is a grubby, money making exercise, it would be so sad if he hadn't permission and was forced to remove all copies of it and compensate those whose image he used without prior approval. Hope nobody tells Andy Goram or Bomber about this...

Problem with any of those people complaining, is that he'll just get more publicity, ..for what (Judging by the poster) is nothing more than a very poorly executed primary school project.

  2. Oddschecker are trying to generate business.  The quotes from the sun story are from oddschecker spokesman George Elek, who also happens to be a journalist,.. so you can see where this one is going.

You take a load of incredibly thick and gullible punters , tell them something that they want to believe is true, and hey presto !.., job done.

  3. Tav is a murder defender but if we are defending as a team we can offset his weaknesses. I’d give him a new deal but I’m the expectation that there is a lot of room for improvement. When he and candeias are in form we are string down that side of the park. The CHs and defensive midfielders need to understand how to protect that defensive area when they are let loose. They showed a good understanding they could do that on Saturday.

I’m not a Windass fan either. He is far too wasteful. If he sorted out his random over optimistic shooting attempts and learned to get goal side more effectively when required he would double his contribution.

The big weakness is still left defence, creative midfielder and pace at the back. Hopefully Alves will go along with Pena and Herrera and that should release substantial cash allowing gradual rebuild.

We can’t just get rid of an entire team so we need some clever work by Allen and Murty in January.

Unfortunately the stock on all three will, if anything ,have decreased ,so unlikely to make anything substantial.

  4. No, buy yourself a glass that you can leave half-empty first. The point is that some folk apparently can't see anything but negativity and if questioned, seem to think that those questioning them just assume everything is fine. Which is obviously rubbish. It hardly is "just a shambles from top to bottom" though. For if that was the case, we would be penniless somewhere between 8th or 12th place.

Games like today show what we have been missing for the better part of 3 years now, a leader on the park, people who take up responsibility, and folk willing to run themselves into the ground. We had 11 Killie chaps doing the latter and that was enough. Games like today also show why we need a Naismith or Murphy, and indeed a Jones. People who get us over the line in such games. It is very much a testament of our recent luck that a guy like Dorrans is injured just now, someone who could add some steel to the attacking midfield.

I've seen enough individual player performances to see that we could have at the very least, consolidated second place,, but there is simply no high level of consistency at all, and it can go from 'brilliant team perfomance', to 'absolutely clueless' ,in a heartbeat.

Even without the names you mention, there are players already in place that should be more than capable of getting us over the line in any game , yet for some reason known only to those players ,they fail.

I remember when our club captain's job used to be seen as a real honour, and with it came a real responsibility ,but it appears to be now just an armband with no influence.

  5. You'd rather the club severely embarrass itself? That's what it's done. It's nothing to do with anger. I'm not bothered that we didn't get McInnes. I am however ashamed that the club would issue such a dreadful statement.

And as you obviously missed it, the statement has conjecture, or is it OK when the club do it?

The statement wouldn't bother the top 100 of embarrassing statements over the last five years.
