This is how it was dealt with. in fact this is how they're all dealt with.

We've got a decent replacement, but we're still going to really miss McGregor.

If they're pursuing McGregor then surely they'd have to pursue Ferguson.

Strangely enough Willie Miller was vehemently defending McGregor's part in that incident, along the lines of if you have a young player running at you in that situation then you have to look after yourself, because it's either you or him.

He got it spot on on this occasion, never a penalty.

They're going to try and exploit any potential weaknesses we have ie;  Worral , so if he plays , then he needs to be on his game from the offset tonight, and no pissing about at the back.

Even watching the highlights of the SPFL, only the foul on Defoe is a debatable decision.

 

 

People spoke about the handball. Fom the video above, watch where the chaps lands after handling the ball. He must have been fully inside the area when hand hit ball, something clearly visible in one of the replays shown.

The one with Candeias is equally clear, at least on the line and Candeias hasn't much speed but still falls down about a yard inside the area.

 

As I said above, our play forced errors and if it were errors in the area, it is penalties. It ain't our fault nor the refs, that St. Mirren commited these fouls. BTW, no-one in the media has debated the two penalties wer were not handed last Wednesday. No-one has debated the penalty for Cowdenbeath that never was. Nor has anyone asked why Tansely did not even a yellow card for one of the penalties he gave away. How come?

I get what you're saying ,but it was effective for them tonight, and it's them that are now sitting second.

I think huge credit must go to Steve Clarke, for getting a team of, tbf just ok players, to perform like a team that believe that they can win the league.

Thing is with Worral, it's not the first time he's done that, he always tries to give the appearance of a man that is in control, when in fact he can be quite the opposite.

It's easy to imagine many of our players passing, or taking 3 touches and losing the ball, in similar positions.

 

Did he do anything apart from score though?

With hindsight he should've been subbed after he scored, because yes, he did very little, and was just a luxury for us tonight.

Had high expectations for tonight too ?.

Sounds to me like McCall is just over valuing Shankland, and is hacked off because the bids for him are nowhere near his valuation.

It'd be interesting to hear exactly what McCall thinks he's worth.
