Has anyone thought rationally about playing in Division 3 ? Which players will we able to afford to pay? Will Green pay wages similar to that of other D3 players? For example, I know of a chap locally who plays with a D1 Club who has to subsidise his wages by working in a chippy! Of the guys who are staying, can we honestly see any of them doing similar? Will the "investors" keep investing if it's likely they'll see no return for at least 4 years? Say we are drawn against an SPL Club in some competition or other. Can we all take a possible/probable hiding and deal with it philosophically? We're all full of big talk at the moment, myself included, but I'm afraid when the reality of our position kicks in, it's not going to be pretty.

I've tried to ask this question, but as of yet I've not had anyone take it on. "Scotland's football supporters refuse Rangers entry to the SPL" This headline has been banded about in various formats leaving the world in no doubt that we are the pariah Club of Scottish football. 70%, 90%, 95% of almost every Clubs' support "say no!" to Rangers! These were the figures being branded about.....figures unchallenged by anyone!! Do Scotlands' fans really hate us ? Motherwell's Fans' Trust clearly indicated by their vote that 82% do not want us anywhere near them from now on. Based on this overwhelming majority, Motherwell FC voted against us stating that it was the fans' wishes. However, how many fans actually voted, 10, 100, 1000, 10,000? After all, MFC's average home attendance is about 6,000. Here are Motherwell's figures, percentages AND numbers !! http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2012/07/03/results-of-%E2%80%98well-society-ballot/ You could argue that less than 10% of their support said "No". The big question is, why did Motherwell FC, knowing of the financial implications, go ahead with this "No" vote knowing that only a small minority actually wished it so ???

Haud on! He's been in charge for 2 years ffs. This is him admitting he's out of his depth.

I thought Gordon Smith defended us quite well.

Will Celtic fans' beliefs disintegrate once the gloating is over?

It's always been about their "poor us" mentality. Please everyone support us in our eternal battle against the evil establishment. They try to appeal to anyone who thinks they've been persecuted by those in charge. The disruptive boy in class who seeks attention by being argumentative, contrary and obnoxious. Their religion tells them to be submissive to an unseen power asking no questions of it's leaders. However, this aggressive religion condones attacks on all others and ignores the indiscretions of it's own members when making those attacks. Rangers, with it's protestant background, is the natural enemy here in Scotland. With cfc being full of rabid followers of this religion (though most will ever attend church), it has become the natural modern day agitator on it's behalf. The catholic church has made itself synonymous with cfc which has also made itself synonymous with Irish republicanism. Insult one of this triumvirate and you insult all of them. All three have been allowed to make it so. We, on the other hand, are the Club which has become seen to be the defender of this Country's history and traditions. In other words, the Club standing up for Scotland and Britain. Sorry !! Got a bit carried away there. -

Bullied by sporting integrity !! Anyway, was it not only a season or two back when the diddy clubs wanted us to leave for England anyway? Their survival wouldn't be an issue they said.

Massive own goal by that small minority. Do the clowns not realise they'll only piss off the remaining 68%!

Section 172 of the Companies Act reads as follows. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/section/172 Should any SPL Club go tits up due to our exclusion, their directors would be liable. Unfit to run a football Club ????

Apparently regan has stated there will be social unrest in Scotland if Rangers are not admitted into Division 1 !!!! Somebody get rid of this imbecile now before he causes any more damage. (It's in the Scotsman but the page won't display)

A sense of perspective on players lost to date. No big deal really.

They should have at least waited to see the outcome of League situation. The Club could also have gained reasonable compensation as well. -
In my opinion Twitter is easily the best tool to promote our Club. For those folk who don't partake they're missing a huge opportunity to contact about everyone else in the World. Several of my "followers" have in excess of 20,000 followers themselves, and those followers have followers etc. etc. If we want to "spread the word" everyone must make a special effort to sign up as soon as possible, especially right now when we're in a spot of bother!! We need all the influential support we can get, now, and always.

Confucius say "When fuckwit ask you personal question you must tell fuckwit to fuck off" Tell tim thomson nothing as he is only trawling for information to attack us with.

If such major "life threatening" decisions are being based on figures such as these then they're doomed by way of Darwin's Natural Selection.

Chris McLaughlin - Reporting from Hampden

Why the need for the vote tomorrow then? -
If all the supporters belonging to the diddy clubs has supported their clubs a bit better financially and numerically over the years, they would not have found themselves dancing to the tune of bankers and sponsorship! It's not as if they've all become barely solvent overnight.

We will not ignore fans over newco, says SFL chief David Longmuir
biggordy replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
Arguably about 1/3 of all football fans in Scotland follow the Rangers to some degree (figure based on % of attendances 2011/2012) That's quite a substantial amount of people! If they fail to acknowledge this massive number then we can easily presume there is no place for any democracy in Scottish football AND that the "Haters" will have ruined our Game forever. -
Mr. Gray deserves credit for having the courage to speak up, especially when others are cowering in their bunkers.

Traynor - Will They Destroy Scottish Football?
biggordy replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
At last some mainstream journo has dared to speak the truth which we already know. Timmy and the rest already know it too, hence their pathetic turnout at Hampden over the weekend. Traynor nailed it spectacularly imo and I dare anyone to argue with it. It is time for the SFA to take control. The trouble is they can't, they're simply incapable of applying their own rules. They've let the SPL Clubs in particular run off at the mouth when they should all have been charged with "disrepute". For all those Clubs who have "listened to their supporters", what were the numbers? How many actually contacted their Club to tell (blackmail) them of their disdain (hatred) for Rangers? The SFA have let mob rule take control. Our present SFA has failed in everything it touches. Vigilante law has stepped in because Regan and his pathetic organisation are way too incompetent. Regan has been like Midas in reverse, everything he's involved in has turned to shite. How long do we have to put up with him?...At the moment it looks like until Scottish Football withers and dies. What would happen if there were no police to enforce the laws of the land? Anarchy!! And that is what we have now, unless. There is 48 hours to save Scottish football. All Club chairmen have to get Regan out NOW on a "No Confidence" vote, and then start afresh with someone who knows what they're talking about. -
Does anyone know ?
