  1. A great piece of Rangers entertainment. Like being with your mates down the booser. No holds barred !! Great stuff !
  2. He only appeared fot tax purposes.
  3. Early days I think, honeymoon period and all that. At the moment we have to make the most of our situation. The fans have gone through a hard 6 months, as have Ally and the faithful players. We owe it to ourselves at the moment. There is no doubt there will be more hard times ahead.
  4. Hi Dan, I was with you until near the end. It takes time and patience to build a football club we can all be proud of. It starts today and it will travel through all the lower divisions, hopefully. I expect we will try to play the right way and, hope it will become known in years to come as , "The Rangers' Way" We will not be an overnight sensation as we have to cut our cloth accordingly. We will have a fantastic journey visiting different Clubs, enjoying the Game, the banter, the hospitality, and also enjoying the fact that our mere presence in the lower leagues will generate interest and cash for them. (even back to the terracing, standing!) Scottish football has been sliding down the toilet for several years now and those SPL clowns just typified why by their recent actions. We can turn our misfortune round and use it to save Scottish Football from the bottom up and have a great time along the way. Patience and understanding my friend.
  5. I think the intention of such a letter was to run it under the SFA's nose to give them something for consideration and not to actually suggest Clubs go knocking on the SFA's door. At least I think this is the case. What are the entire implications of those titles being taken? Will they be awarded to the runner up? I wonder who that could be Mr. Lawell, I'll bet he'll say the thought never crossed his mind. Will they want the return of winners' cash? Will they demand we remove all displays of having won such titles? Will they ask us to recall all the medals won in the period? Where's it going to stop? We've been sleepwalking for years and have let the tims gain a huge advantage by way of infiltrating and manipulating the media, politicos etc. 6 months down the line and where are we - still waiting for those nomark clowns at the SFA/SPL to behave in a half decent way. They're stupid, they're irrelevant, they're vindictive, and, they're doing it with full collaboration of the most insidious football club which has ever existed. If it were the tims who were in our position, they would be holding fundraising rallies in Dublin and New York by now. They would also be turning up on officials doorsteps and letting them know what was to happen. They would be on every TV channel pleading their case. Now I'm not advocating tim-like behaviour but if we don't go on the offensive , we will be forever fending them off on one issue or another. This could either be our last stand, or our biggest and best ever success. But, it will only happen by everyone doing their bit.
  6. Just read this letter posted on Twitter. http://rangersfightback.wordpress.com/2012/07/28/an-open-letter-to-f-c-copenhagen/ I think we should consider doing more of this. There will be far reaching implications for the SFA should titles be removed and I think it's our duty to remind them just what they will be buying in to. The Copenhagen tie is only one instance. Potentially, there could be hundreds of Clubs and businesses who may want to re-visit any losses they incurred during our "EBT" period which the SFA are looking at. I think there is plenty scope to attack the SFA without having to go head to head with them. They have the smell of our blood in their nostrils and we need to fight back in any way possible.
  7. QUOTE=the gunslinger;350990]this is premature I'm afraid. Maybe, but I think we'll be better prepared for the next battle.
  8. Fine article right enough. I think Frankie or someone as eloquent and knowledgable, should write to the author, William Lyons (address at the end of the piece) and make him aware of the way our Club has been treated by the authorities. I'm sure the lies, blackmail and threats could provide many column inches for the Journal as well as telling our story to the rest of the football world, as well as exposing the crooked double dealing iat the home of football.
  9. Where there's will there's a way. So, we're gubbed in that case.
  10. It's a wonder they don't call themselves "AArdvark FC" so they could appear at the top of every list!!!
  11. Who should Brechin sue ? SFA ? SPL ? Lawell ? Harper McLeod ? Those are the erseholes holding things up!
  12. Kennedy 15% Smith/McColl 15% Brown 15% Fans 15% Sorted !!!
  13. Good to see the SFL looking after the interests of it's members, us included.
  14. Spread the word on ALL social media asap.
  15. I know of at least 1 Labour MP on the case!
  16. Admit Dunfermline back in to keep everyone happy, well, some people ?
  17. In order to have a fairer resolution with no SPL self interest or the SFA's over zealous desire to see us well screwed, we must pass the issue to either UEFA or this organisation...immediately. http://www.globalarbitrationreview.com/reviews/40/sections/140/chapters/1434/sports-arbitration/

    My View

What other ruling body anywhere in any entity negotiates with it's victim in such a way. If you accept this we will do that etc. Any proper, normal organisation will set the penalty and the "accused" will then appeal if it's too harsh. The sfa know it CAN'T impose these sanctions so it resorts to blackmail, absolutely stunning, especially when it does it under the name of sporting integrity. I say no more negotiation and take matters to UEFA and let them pass judgement on the whole thing. I really want matters sorted asap but I can't accept the way we are being treated by the rest of Scottish football and the sfa in particular.
  19. Regan has already gone on record by saying Scottish football would die without Rangers !! We MUST call his bluff on this one, and the threat of other sanctions.
  20. Does anyone actually trust the bbc anymore? I stopped a long time ago.
  21. Well they are right enough. Those fine upstanding SFA members do recognise one of their own. My Oxford English Dictionary says, and I quote, " Modernisation - Systematically dismantling a long established organisation in only 2 years by causing strikes, inconsistency, absent leadership, unrest and general chaos to the point of leading said organisation to the brink of extinction by using methods such as lying, manipulating, blackmail and general chicanery. (see Regan, Yorkshire Cricket Club and Scottish Football)
  22. Whoever they sign has a chance to be written in to Rangers folklore imo.
  23. Right GS, that's enough! If you can't say anything positive then leave the discussion now.
