Craig Whyte vows to sack anyone at Rangers who talks to BBC
biggordy replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It would be reasonable to suggest that the previous Board under johnston were only trying to run the Club down in order to buy it after administration. Whyte comes along and spoils their party. Judging by the way these people are still trying to squeeze every last penny from us, bain paying himself win bonuses while the Club was failing financially for example, proves that their only motivation was hard cash. Now johnston is threatening to sue for expenses !!! Aye, real "Rangers' men", that will be right ! "Surrender, no".......what a fucking wanker ! -
Rangers fan MacMillan says Whyte claims 'disturbing'

Daley pushed the "guilty by association" bit several times. He tried a bit too hard to be impartial for my liking.- 22 replies

I didn't think a Bank would resort to blackmail. i do think however, there were quite a few things said which will have "consequences".

I wonder how Lloyds Bank will view the statement from johnston saying that he was threatened by them into accepting CW's offer to take over the Club ? Banks don't threaten people, do they ? BTW I thought johnston's acting was as contrived as daley's.

Will it be a jury case ?

It shouldn't be too difficult to compile a list of "incidents" where the BBC have publicly shown their bias, look into the background of the "reporters" who are predisposed to showing it, and, exposing their sources. We must take them on once and for all and show EVERYONE we will not be pushed around. We must NOT back down.

Happy days. They need us more than we don't need them !!!

Can I suggest we may see a phoenix rise from the flames ? Stay positive. There is no way our Club is going to be finished. I am looking forward to the future, even though it's going to be a rough few months. I am confident Whyte will come good.

This organisation's life blood consists mainly of unsubstantiated and perceived "sectarianism". In my opinion it is responsible for grossly exaggerating our (Scotland's) problem in order to justify it's very own existence: re. funding applications for example. It is very easy to wheel out mythical anecdotal "evidence" which can't be challenged. Subsequently the Press lap it up. The Government caved in to their funding request to absolve themselves of being accused of false bias, hence the relatively small amount. Remember, the non Catholic population in Scotland is about 85%, and most of the remaining 15% don't give a toss about "sectarianism". Therefore, it is only a very small percentage of the population who actually buy in to the "anti Irish/Catholic agenda" and for NBM only able to provide fictional, anecdotal evidence is quite pathetic. Don't get carried away with the importance of this insignificant organisation, although, it is quite disturbing that their stories get wheeled out occasionally for public consumption and are always unchallanged.

BBC Investigative Documentary on RFC/Craig Whyte confirmed
biggordy replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I'll wager it doesn't get aired. -
Just watching a clip of Dave Allen from back in the day. He was a man who knew religion for what it is. Causing trouble for centuries and continuing to do so.

Robert Rollie avoids jail term over Neil Lennon abuse

The precedent has now been set. Good or bad ? ......I'm not sure. -
I am very interested to see how salmond addresses the accusation of "concealing statistics showing scale the of anti Catholic sectarianism".

Fantastic work. We must all now do our bit and contact all of these people ; the hard work has already been done.

Jobs for the boys. Another pointless piece of officialdom which will only stir up controversy after controversy. All it will achieve is more headlines for the rags.

Police warn against Old Firm-related domestic violence
biggordy replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It's the inference that it is football, and Rangers and them in particular, who are solely to blame and nothing else. What constitutes and "Incident" ? For example, I had a good friend who was harrassed by his ex wife over the course of a week. She kept coming to his new flat wanting to get in etc., each time he refused, she called the police. He was lifted 6 times that week for doing nothing apart from refusing his former wife entry to his new home. Meanwhile that accounted for 10 incidents of domestic abuse even though he was never charged and got to know the embarrassed, local police. Of these 142 reported incidents, how many were considered trivial or serious, was it one person reporting the same incident 142 times or was it 142 people each making individual reports ? Statistics can make you believe anything. Scotland has a population of about 5 million. There were 142 incidents reported. This represents about 0.6 of the population. How's that for a statistic !!!!!! That's one way of portraying a statistic if you wanted to slant it the other way. BTW I left out the fact that it was 142 in Strathclyde, not the whole of Scotland. BUT, like the press, it wasn't a lie. -

Yet again, it's what the statistics don't say which will be more useful in this situation. For example, how many men received abuse from their partners on Sunday. I cannot believe that not even 1 man got pelters from the missus on arriving home drunk. -
Basking in the knowledge that we were streets ahead of them yesterday, despite all the recent negative reporting surrounding the Club. This stuff will hopefully take a back seat for a wee while. However, I "was taught to be cautious" and am now eagerly awaiting the next game to see if we can build consistency and stretch our lead. I

I'm a "Whyte supporter" because he took us on when no-one else would touch us due to these mounting problems. Before he took over, we were hardly in any position to be exploited. I'll reserve making further judgement until the end game is in sight.

Bain plays major role in the financial mismanagement of the Club resulting in possible multi million debt to HMRC. Bain sacked due to "financial irregularities" Bain exerts more financial pressure on Club by having £500,000 frozen. Therefore leaving Club in deeper trouble which was partly caused by him in the first place. This seems like rewarding himself for failure. This is not logical. Will Bain be culpable for any debts to HMRC which accrued while he was handling matters at the Club ?......Will Murray ?

Not to forget the "bestest goaly in the wurld", namely, the roly poly holy goaly.

The remarks are even worse if he was there in an SFA capacity. I don't think he can be allowed to make disparaging remarks about member Clubs in this way. What next, Craig levein dissing the Lurgan bigot for only having a few Scots at his club ?

Aye Danny, I didn't really read it for the grammar. He got right up the nose of timmy, that was good enough for me.
