  1. £270k actually.
  2. I tweeted this earlier. It came direct from one of the angry coaching squad. not saying which one. Money still owed on the purchase of Jelavic (nobody pays the full fee up front !), agent's fees from our purchase of Jelavic, which was still outstanding, and on his sale to Everton (totalling about 20%) I also thought there was no sell-on amount but I was told that there was. Don't shoot the messenger chaps.
  3. lf Hertz take something from tonight's game then I think it is possible for us to kick on. Them dented, us encouraged.
  4. No sane person would come near Rangers in our present situation. Do you suggest McCoist walks away and leaves Durrant/McDowall in charge ?
  5. I was told today that Sandaza was told on "deadline day" to come back from Spain and sign for us. One hour before his flight was due, he was then told the deal was off. He was understandably raging. Can anyone confirm this or if Sandaza was in fact in Spain on that day. Jf this turns out to be true, WHAT THE FUCK is going on. Darryl King has certainly put some facts together and is asking some highly pertinent questions imo.
  6. I don't blame Ally for our present situation. I admire him for not walking away, just as Walter remained steadfast over the past couple of seasons. And. in a strange kind of way, I admire Whyte for hanging on despite the constant barrage of slurs and accusations from different quarters. I can only surmise there must be a big pay day in it for him sooner or later. I am coming round to thinking CW is the villain in our predicament. He's taken advantage of our financial crisis and is trying to make a killing at some point. The Club will soon be dead in the water for the vultures to pick at. It WILL be a painful process but I firmly believe we will look back on this period and see it as a positive turning point for the Club, necessary for a successful future. I can't blame Ally. he's not just a journeyman manager, he's a dyed in the wool Rangers man, therefore not possible for him to do anything detrimental to the Club. He said earlier that results are secondary to the safe future of our Club and I believe him. Once we've come through this and reached stability again, will be the time to judge Ally on his ability as a manager and consider other options but not at this time.
  7. Hey CB, do you really think CW etc. lack planning ability !!! They knew EXACTLY what they were doing and make no mistake..they're not as daft as you might think !! Question is, who is going to benefit from their manoeverings. The Club ? Them ?? Someone yet to reveal themselves ??
  8. There are some very strange goings on at our Club just now, and these team selections are just another example. It is impossible to second guess the next move from both Ally or the "board". I for one can't understand why CW is where he is..came from nowhere with a somewhat less than enviable background and bought our Club knowing it's almost certain dire financial future. Most folk in his position would have either avoided us in the first place, or baled out having faced extremely close personal scrutiny. In my opinion he can only be a "front" for someone else who is going to step in once administration has been done and dusted. I've heard from a close media friend very much in the know ( I know, I know, bear with me, I've been with Gersnet long enough to know that "heard from a mate etc" is usually given short shrift ) that Ally is only doing his best with what he has and is only staying on, and risking his future managerial career, as he is an out and out Rangers Man and won't walk away. He has given up trying for more players as it is a straight refusal because the Club is being run down by CW. (how many players do we have out on loan now ?) It IS going to be a painful few months as we witness a slow demise but I do believe from what I've been told that next season we should be back on a stable footing and able to return to past successes. Here's hoping. BTW there should be a big story tomorrow regarding Kyle Lafferty...if there isn't, then maybe my friend has been telling me crap.
  9. Grant Holt target !!! Just mentioned on Sky Sports
  10. How long has CW been in charge !!!! A tad early to talk about VAT returns doncha think. Another mad phil production methinks.
  11. I really want McKay to succeed, and, judging by his successful career so far, there is no doubt in my mind that he can be an outstanding player for us.
  12. Re. McKAY..Can anyone tell me why Australia's player of the year has failed to flourish with us ?
  13. With the last hearing only lasting 3 days, in my opinion, someone's case has collapsed.
  14. I still have difficulty in accepting that HMRC have any case whatsoever. "Loopholes" are not illegal !!! Mind you, I ain't no tax accountant !!!
  15. I wonder if he's been pissing in the soup etc ?
  16. Jeff Winter and all his family are Roman Catholics as far as I believe. I have read his blog several times and have seen the vile and obscene abuse he takes from "them". They appear to save their worst for members of their own Church who follow Rangers, Nacho etc. If Jeff Winter has written these things, he has only mirrored the comments which have been made to him by the "celtic family" Those celtic "fans" will have left their mailing addresses etc., and I'm certain if Jeff Winter is prosecuted, he will take quite a sizeable number of them with him. NB. Has anyone noticed that all has gone quiet on the situation, I wonder if CFC has had a longer think about their "wish for an investigation" ?
  17. Do you think any of his fellow tims will do the right thing and report him ?. Surely they are not all racist bigots, are they ? Surely their football club will distance themselves from this kind of thing even though their fans have done it before ? Surely, phil several names will condemn this "evil act" in the same way he condemned Jeff Winter ? Surely the Catholic Church's representative in Scotland, Peter Kearney, will show his disgust at this inhuman behaviour and insist the perpetrator is gaoled for 5 years ? Surely the BBC will do a piece in front of celtic park asking why this abhorrent act keeps occurring by an unknown club's supporters ? Anyone ? Anyone ? Anyone ?
  18. It does make you wonder !
  19. Just a thought ! Mibbes we are seeing what is really going on at the pit. Over the past couple of days there have been more than a few glimpses of the real nasty element of timmy's support. (the "we know where you live types") Many threats are being made by this "support" against lemmon, lawwel etc for speaking out about banners and songs. I've read some of them and they are very threatening. I've often thought that journos were being intimidated and Leggo has confirmed my feelings. This being the case, it's not beyond reason that their club management may be facing the same. I'm not being an apologist for cfc, but some of their recent (non) actions beggar belief.
  20. This would be FenianCelt1888 I believe. this is one deranged individual. He/she/it seems to have an unhealthy fascination with the death of Rangers' supporters.
  21. Maybe he should have a swatch at these numbers. http://www.blackandwhitearmy.com/forums/index.php/topic/32617-fouls-per-booking-tables/
  22. Someone, a Mr/Ms Guest Writer, has spent an awful lot of time in this "story". I wonder where their motivation comes from ?
  23. Tell the big Dutch haffwit that the feeling's mutual.
  24. "Much ado about fuck all" as William Shakespeare would have said.
  25. Only ones which involve Rangers. Who actually reports these things to the SFA ?
